I read many reviews for Ektorp covers and landed on this one, and I’m glad I did. I looked at the stock pics a thousand times trying to figure out if the light grey one was going to be the right shade of grey and lighter than my current dark grey cover, and it was. The last 3 pics show the difference in color between the light grey cover and the IKEA dark grey from a few different angles, for comparison. I personally wanted a lighter grey and this was perfect. I love the slightly heathered fabric- it looks elevated. Fabric is lighter weight and softer than the Ikea cover which seems like a very heavy denim material. My family likes it much better. The cover fits perfectly, even better than the original IMO. It was super easy to assemble and wrinkles came our very easily with a small handheld steamer. For $300, I’m hoping to get 3-5 more years out of my 12 year old couch. I thought it was slightly pricey, but isn’t everything these days? I also didn’t want to spend thousands on a new couch because I have 2 dogs, 2 teenagers and a husband, so my fancy couch dreams will have to wait. So far, I haven’t noticed any snags or evidence of this cover being fragile, but I will update my review if it doesn’t wear well. Overall, I absolutely love this new cover! Made my 12 year old couch look brand new!

I was scared to buy these covers cause of the color but I love them, got a few stains on them but come off quickly with a damped cloth or a baby wipe, they’re soft and fit great, I just have to steam them to remove the wrinkles, I’ll update once I wash them

We have owned this cover for almost a year. We wash it often, at least once a month. It cleans easily and is still in good condition. I am glad you sell this as I am not ready to replace my Ikea Ektorp, but they no longer sell the covers.

I really like the color, though i thought would be alittle lighter. Fit is good. Some covers are tighter than others and some slip on easily. The main cover is pretty tight and fits well...I hope will last through washes and not shrink. I wash cool water and dry on very low heat and take out before fully dry....that's what I was told by an ikea sales person many years ago. Feel of fabric is nice.

The cover was too short in length and also impossible to zip on the cushion portion. The material and color were nice just didn’t fit. Ikea has since started selling the slip covers again so I ended up purchasing another from them.

This chair cover fits as good as the original Ektorp cover, and was actually easier to put on! The fabric is not as heavy, but I think that’s a plus, as it certainly feels just as durable and yet it’s easier to manipulate. I love the fabric texture and color. I’m waiting for the matching ottoman cover to arrive soon. I’m so happy with this product I’m saving my pennies to order a sofa/chaise cover, even though I have two IKEA ones for my living room sofa. The color will match anything. It’s great that this vendor is making these as the Ektorp frames and cushions last forever and now I can continue to have updated covers! Very, very satisfied.

Not sure why these only come in at a 4.1 review. They fit beautifully and easy to put on. They are not as heavy as the Ikea ones. But I've had no issues. Buying 2 more.

I purchased a used IKEA ottoman knowing there was a stain on it.with the intent to replace the rigs so cover. I purchased the light grey slipcover and it fits great. It was very easy to put on.
