Ceiling mount for d
Out of the box, it appears to be very heavy and well made. The instructions are clear and concise. All the parts are there. So far. I'm impressed. Installation will take place next week.

Best TV mount we ever used! Highly recommended…
We hung this inside our Outdoors in our Tiki hut. It’s so easy to mount and the appearance looks beautiful. We purchased the 3’ for a 75” TV. We absolutely love this!

Perfect Swivel TV Mount
This TV mount is just as advertised. The swivel motion is very smooth/glides with no noise. It was super easy to mount to the ceiling and came with a template which made it even easier. The ability to adjust the height by up to 13” is nice…my only gripe is that it is accomplished with bolts vs quicklock push buttons (maybe not a bad thing from a securing the TV standpoint though). It’s not hard to make the height adjustment, but I definitely would not try that with the tv on the mount for obvious reasons.Great TV mount for the $. The TV mounted in our pictures is 55”. This could easily hold larger TVs and is very sturdy.

Elegant but make sure you have a safe installation
I bought this mount to get our plasma screen up off of our equipment cabinet so the center channel speaker would not be blocked and to raise the screen up a little. The setup is in the corner since a fireplace is on one wall, large window on the front, and French doors in the back, and the hallway to the rest of the house on the fourth wall; thus in a corner a wall mount would not reach even with an extending arm. The simple black vertical tube is elegant and works perfectly for us. My wife’s complaint is the mounting bracket is also black on the white ceilng and I haven’t painted it yet. My complaint was that it took me awhile to figure out working mounting bolts since the ones supplied couldn’t work for my ceiling. My house has 5/8” drywall and this room has a cathedral ceiling with a fairly shallow pitch. But the joists here and throughout the house have perpendicular wooden strips below to which the drywall is affixed. That creates a gap to the joist which is is why the large 2 inch wood screws would not work and also makes it hard to find the joists with a stud finder. The other bolts provided were for cement installations. I could have used longer wood screws but wasn’t sure where the joist was going to line up where I wanted it. I had to do some research to find an acceptable drywall anchor. Many of them are not recommended for ceilings, vertical installation. Even when they are, you have to be cautious when insulation is involved. You want to make sure you have double the rated weight spec of your tv plus the mount, which is around 35 lbs. and the vertical mounting strength of anchors is half of the horizontal mount strength, typically. So the only kind worth considering for a larger tv are toggler snap toggle ora similar competitor. They hold a lot of weight and are easy to install.

Sturdy, quality construction
I was in the market for a ceiling TV mount which extended upto 48" from the ceiling. I finally chose this as it said it would go upto 60". Though it was packaged very well, it was easy to unpack and lay it on the floor. The paper stencil-cut out which had precut holes in them made it super easy to cut holes in the ceiling beam. The package also included 1/2" concrete wall anchors though I did not use it. These things are not cheap and I appreciate the fact they included them as I am going to use it for something else, but is a viable option for folks who are planning to mount this unit on concrete walls. The material is of high quality construction, very sturdy, but easy enough for just one person to hold it and drive the bolts into the ceiling (make sure you cut pilot holes first). There are plenty of bolts and rubber bushes to mount the brackets onto your TV.The mount includes an opening at the top to pass your power and HDMI cables if you wish to conceal your cables (I did not use them for other reasons). The TV can be rotated 360 degrees. I must say the tilt could have been better (I guess it is +/- 30 degrees?) though I did not need it and could be a minor issue for those who want it mounted high above. Though the product literature says it can be extended upto 60". In my case 48" was perfect for me, though as a test I extended it upto about 54" and realized anything more than that, could be a factor.Overall I am extremely pleased with what appears to be a very sturdy product. I gave 5 stars for Installation and value, though I cannot yet speak to the durability (as it is just been 2 days). If you are looking for a Ceiling TV mount, this is it!

VERY WELL BUILT, AND EASY TO INSTALL.
I installed a 55" TV outside on my covered deck. I could not find a ceiling mount made for use outdoors, so I bought this unit. I used locktite to secure the bolts and wrapped the mounting arms in a lockable cable to secure my TV. If someone tries to take it, they will have to take the whole thing down in one piece. I talked to tech support and told them what I was doing, and suggested they add a couple of things to make it impossible to remove without special tools.
