Too tall for a standard road fork, but fine on rear dropouts
I'm writing this for anyone who's considering converting their road bike to a gravel/cross/commuter. I've got a pretty standard/modern frameset (100 mm front, 135 mm rear), and I tried the tire on two different wheelsets (~2012 Mavic Askium and ~2016 Fulcrum 5 LG). When inflated to minimum recommended pressure (55 psi), it's just a hair too tall to fit in a standard front fork (see pictures). It just barely fits on my rear chainstays, with very little vertical clearance. This would not be a good combination if you'll be riding muddy areas. If you're riding on gravel or in dry weather, it'll probably be fine!If you have wider wheels, you may get better clearance. This will likely fit fine on a hybrid bike. If you have a cross bike, you should really consider riding 700x35-40s or wider tires. If you need a narrow, knobby tire, this is one of your only options. But I'd recommend ordering one and seeing how it fits first. Other options include Panaracer Gravel Kings and Kenda Karvs, but those have much less tread. The Continental Cross King will probably be too wide for most road frames. The Continental Ride Tour looks interesting but the narrow tires aren't stocked on Amazon. In any case, I've ordered a Kenda Kwick Trax to try on my front fork - I'll update this review if that works out.

Make sure fits in your bike before you buy
**Quick update: After 350 miles of gravel road it's clear to me that the 30c size tire it is not so great as you need to run 60psi (or more) to avoid pinch flats. 45psi on these tires it is ideal with perfect suppleness and easy rolling for long rides but but if I go over anything over a quarter size pebble the risk for a pinch flat is very high. My last 70 miles ride I reached the end of the loop with 3 pinch flats. For smooth thin gravel, this tire is great. One great thing that I find out about this tire is how easy is to mont on the rims compared to other tires that I have tried. I can almost remove the tire from the rim without a tool.-----------------------------------------------Purchased these tires for my old Cannondale road bike that I want to ride on gravel roads. The tire fits but barely. I will not be able to ride in wet dirt road or trail because surely the mud will stuck between the tire and the frame. Besides that, I ride for about 5 miles Justino try it out and I love it. I should have done this long time ago.

Great tire
Four rides and about 50 miles in and I am a real big fan of this tire. I was looking for a narrow cross tire for a road to cross bike conversion and came across this tire being recommended on several different forums.Tech specs first:I needed something narrow, yet knobby for a back and thankfully this guy fits. I don't have an accurate traditional width to report (online research indicates around 27.5 to 29 depending on inner rim width), but can say that on a 19 mm inner width rim, the bead to bead measurement (tire inflated to 35) is 3 1/4 inches or 82-83 mm. While trying to figure out what tire to buy, I found bead to bead measurement the best way to determine what would or would not fit my frame. If this is pumped up past 60 psi, it will rub at the top slightly.Performance: My first two rides were in a mix of mud, 2 inches of snow, iced over tire tracks, and crushed gravel/dirt. I experimented with several different tire pressures and was really happy to see how this tire really changed the feel with alternating pressure. I ahd thought I would only get that with tubeless. For the first muddy/snowy ride I had it at about 15 psi and had really great grip ( I weigh 150). When things progressively dried out, I upped the pressure to 35 and found great grip and better speed over the dry stuff. I had no slips/spin outs while climbing and the knobs were just the right length to still make a difference when packed with mud. My only real issue was bike related as the bike I am using has zero clearance for mud (as you can see in the pic). I really recommend this tire as it really exceeded my expectations in the worst conditions. My plan is to ride it mostly on forest roads, some single track, and urban trails but was really pleased with how it grips in wet, snowy, icy, muddy conditions.

The tire to make your bike more capable
If you have a older frame or a newer frame that isnt gravel specific but you want assurance when venturing off the paved path, these are your tires. currently there is a trend that wider is better and while that is true, wider isnt required. I have a 2018 roubaix i have two sets of wheels 9road and gravel) and these tires on the gravel set. What is nice about these tires is they roll fast on pavement and grip well on gravel. gravel climbs are no problem as they dig in, in the easier gear (high torque low speed scenarios). Durability isnt a question and for the price you can find a better tire in such a niche size.

They were brilliant. No punctures
I put these on my road/racing bike to cycle the devon coast to coast as some of it is gravel/rough paths. They were brilliant. No punctures. Even did a little cyclocr osso track on the way back.

Ottimo in fuori strada, buona tenuta e ottima trazione su tutto i fondi....così così su asfalto soprattutto in curva....
