Perfect for curious little builders!
My 3 year old LOVES to build with his new marble run blocks. The blocks are durable when put up against rough toddler play. Yes, it’s not Lego brand so there might be a few pieces that aren’t completely flush, but it’s nothing major and won’t affect the enjoyment of the toy. The blocks are the same size as DUPLO legos, so we mix them in with our own duplo pieces. The varying styles of the marble run blocks give my son more ideas for general DUPLO builds, so its fun to play with the blocks outside of marble run builds. My husband and son like to build using the suggested diagrams in the instruction booklet, which are easy to follow for most people who enjoy a puzzle, or they freestyle with their structures. I shopped around for a while before choosing this item and I feel confident in the value for money.

Fun but also frustrating
I bought this for my 3 and 2 year old boys for Christmas. They love and hate it at the same time. They get frustrated trying to build it and if parts fall over, which doesn’t take much for that to happen I might add. Then there’s Lego pieces everywhere that usually get stepped on and cause more tears. My 8 year old nephew liked it but also needed an adult’s help to figure out how to build a track that worked. And he lost interest by the time it was built. Overall, it’s been a bit frustrating but I hope it gets better the longer they’re exposed to it and play with it.

age listed is accurate
The instructions to build different marble runs are very clear and easy to follow. The 3 1/2 year old thoroughly enjoyed playing with the marble run, but he required assistance to build.

Worth it.
We love this! Not only does it spark my son's creativity but it also is the same size as his Duplo blocks. The compatibility is very convenient.

Fun
It was super easy to put together and a lot of fun! It looks super cute and colorful all built, and regular dull legos are interchangeable, so you can build off of the original. It was for our 2 year old grandson, the only thing is it is very easy to break. He played with it for a long time!

Trouble getting pieces to stay together
Pieces don’t fit together well and often fall apart. The pro is that this can be used with duplo blocks so we were able to use the marble run blocks with stuff we had on hand.

One of the corner pieces is missing. The manual says there should be 11 corner pieces but our set came with only 10. This makes the entire set useless as the marble course is incomplete. Absolute waste of money.
