FROGG TOGGS Chilly Pad Cooling Towels, 2 Pack, 33" x 13"

Essential for Arizona in the summer - especially for attending swim meets! Good quality compared to competitors' brands, no smell, easy to use and comfortable. Portable and easy to use for hiking and anything outside in hot weather.

I live in Florida and it gets really but with this towel it makes working outside more comfortable. I have 2 towels and both go in the refrigerator for a half hour before I start. I don’t recommend the freezer they will rip apart and destroy your towels. I rotate them hourly. After using them I was with Dawn shop and air dry. Interesting note I asked my doctor why these make the difference on 95 degree days and he said the towels fool your body into thinking it’s about 10 degrees cooler? All I know is they sure work for me m!

My wife and I have had Frogg Toggs products for years so we got these instead of another brand. It has been hot here for the last month, over 100 degrees just like every summer. Follow the instructions and wash them when you first get them. They work very well. Recharge with cold water as needed. Then rinse out to get the sweat off and hang them on a hanger, not in an air tight container like a zip lock as mold will form. They dry stiff on the hanger, but run under cold water and they come back to life within a few seconds.

First, the bad: I’m not sure why you HAVE to “wash before first use” but the orange coloring quickly wrung out, leaving a pale, nearly pink, orange behind. Not a deal breaker but still.The good: completely odorless, truly cooling for hours, reusable, can be cut to size without compromising integrity.I live in Florida, you can believe me when i say, these actually bring down your body temperature, safely and quickly, and keep it down!This time, I bought the orange double pack. I cut diagonall- length wise, creating triangle containing the logo. Each dog got one, bandanna style. I then tied the remaining two pieces, skinny ends together, creating for myself a summer time cooling scarf!(Note to seller, please offer in dog bananas and in longer scarf)I have found these work best single layer, i only purchase the large towel shape to cut into shapes & sizes i prefer.

The texture of these when wet is unlike any other towel I have used. It is almost rubbery and clammy, which is great in the heat compared to the other cloth-based cooling towels I have used. I keep it in my cooler when outdoors and it almost gets TOO cold.

I hike extensively in the wilderness, and I get a lot of bumps and bruises that are best treated with a cold pack. These Cooling Towels work great, and keep a minor injury from swelling. In addition, when it's really hot outside, these towels are nice and cool for your neck. When the towels are dry, they are very light, which is great for my backpack.

I went to Washington DC July 8-13-2024. I realized it was an extremely hot time with the temperatures in the low to mid 90s. Comfort index was 105 on some days. I took it with me every day. The first day wasn’t bad. I did a six hour tour of Washington DC. it was a hop on hop off tour. when I would get back to the bus I always grabbed a bottled water and would wrap the wrap around it and that was very helpful. Keeping it cold. I did a 2 1/2 hour walking tour of Arlington national cemetery. It also was a very hot day. it didn’t help hardly at all. I would say within an hour to an hour and a half, it wasn’t working at all to help. I think it would be good at home when I’m outside gardening and tending to my flowers. But I wasn’t impressed with how it worked when I was up in Washington. I kept it in a refrigerator during the nights also
