Hard to say this about most products on Amazon. Things tend to be cheap and flimsy. Not this, this is the best egg slicer I have ever seen. It’s super strong, and durable. Definitely a 30 year product. All metal no crappy plastic. Highly recommend.

This item works well with wife’s RA. It is simple to use, very nicely priced, fits in my drawer (house lacking in storage space!) design is simple, you can cut your eggs vertically and rotate it and cut it length wise. Simpler than using a kitchen rack. I’ve had 3 different egg cutters and this is the best by far, although I do miss the one I had with 2 cutting ‘blades’. It is well built and safe to use, clean. My wife has been known to cut herself with butter knives, but try as she might, even in water (we DO NOT RECOMMEND TRYING THIS) washed it with a sponge and hot soapy water, when she rinsed it, amazingly, she did not cut herself. This is very dependable and my wife highly recommends.

This is a very nice egg slicer. It is made from Stainless Steel and is nice looking and sturdy. It washes up beautifully in the dishwasher.

You make a hard boiled egg because you want to slice it for your chef salad. If you had one of these you would be slicing eggs like a pro. Or like an amature. Whatever, it works well and cleans up easily. The last one we had the base was plastic and after 15 years, it broke. This one should last me the rest of my life. In fact, I want to be buried with it. Buy your own. No inherited egg slicers.

Very weak quality

I’ve tried a few egg slicers including a major brand. But this is by far the best. It copes with eggs of all sizes. It goes in the dishwasher many times. All wires remain tight. After much use, it still looks great and cuts boiled eggs very well. It is well designed. It doesn’t catch water in the dishwasher so it hasn’t tarnished. A great product!!
