Great Book
As a woman who is studying to become a midwife, I find this book full of great information with many great research articles and books to back it all up. I am excited to put this newfound knowledge to use in my future as a midwife.

Best Holistic Approach to PCOS
I bought this book because I saw a YouTube video of Dr. Fiona as a guest on a PCOS podcast. I was specifically looking for info on natural ways of dealing with PCOS and perimenopause and I saw that this book had a section on that so I got it.It's the book I wish I would have had 30 years ago. I've been trying to treat my PCOS naturally for just about that long. Back when you couldn't even buy Myo or D-chiro inositol and had to eat buckwheat and cantaloupe to get it, BUT were trying to limit carbs. In the past 6 months, without knowing this book existed, I've implement 90% of what is in this book because my numbers (A1C, insulin, testosterone, etc.) started looking scarier than ever. I do natural treatments, so through research, I was able to get a regimen down and have been vigilant for 6 months, as opposed to skating by for the past 20 years. The same week I bought this book, I had my numbers tested again. As I read each chapter and checked off the things I'd changed (almost everything she suggests. I do eat more beef than she recommends -but locally raised, grass fed, and I still do dairy -but raw and only cheese and cream), my results started trickling in. A1C well within normal limits, fasting insulin down to normal, testosterone from extremely high to normal. It all confirmed that this is the right track for me. I've lost 75lbs, 45 of that in the past 5 months. I've gone from size 28 to 18.I still have a long way to go and this book showed me where I can improve. Even though my iron is "lab normal" she recommends getting it to optimal (above 70) to stop and reverse hair loss. And there are a couple of supplements I didn't think were super important, but she does a great job of explaining why they are, so I'll start those. The section on menopause was helpful and I'd love to see her write a whole book on that!If you have PCOS and are looking for results, GET THIS BOOK and implement the recommendations. Especially if you're naturally minded.

3 consecutive periods 35 day cycle length
Sure- I was a little biased when I ordered this book after reading some of the negative reviews. But it has changed my body drastically. I have had this book for almost 3 months and read it cover to cover in 1 night. I wrote down notes and important page numbers ect. I DID NOT change my eating habits (she says to cut out all sugars, drink almond or soy milk, no alcohol, what foods to not eat ect) the author also gives a bunch of natural ways to lower your androgen levels, to boost your metabolism, to lower your adrenal levels and so forth. All I did was take vitamins every single morning, and after 4 days I had a period. I tend to have very irregular periods (2-3 a year) and they’re very heavy when they do come. So my first period was heavy and 10 days long. I kept taking my vitamins and 35 days later I had my second period. Actual period cramps and everything. Literally to the day, and this one was very normal and lasted only 6 days. I tracked my ovulation with strips and had a positive ovulation (did not conceive due to husband not being home), and now 35 days after that period I am currently on my 3rd period in 3 months! This is miraculous for me, as this has never happened before in my life. At 16 I was diagnosed with pcos and have had a difficult journey to get pregnant. After 2 years and fertility treatment we had a healthy boy(: now, this round we are trying a more natural way to conceive, and we hope this month is it(: I am going to list the vitamins and i added to my diet in case any of you want to try it too ❤️ Prenatals, iron 65mg, resveratrol 250mg, D3 5000 IU, super vitamin b complex, E 400 IU, C 1000mg, omega 3 1040mg, myo and d-chiro inositol 40:1 ratio, cinnamon 1800 mg and calcium, magnesium and zinc (all in 1).Yes-it’s a lot of vitamins, and I’m this book she list soooo many other things you can take instead or eat etc. but I like to take what I need first thing and get it over with. I drink a lot of water and I drink green tea (hot or cold) and I drink peppermint tea some nights too. These are all things that the author says is good for pcos. The black hair growth on my face has decreased drastically, I don’t sleep all the time like I used to, I feel much better (even joined a gym) and can tell a huge difference just from taking my vitamins. It’s amazing what you’re deficient in due to your pcos. Good luck to those of you out there struggling with fertility, you’re not alone ❤️ I hope this review helps and I pray this cycle we get pregnant. Bless each of you with pregnancy dust ❤️
