Pros:These drains look and work great. The seals under the sink and around the drain fit nicely with my current sink.Very easy to install.. even for a novice like me these went in in 15 minutes or less.Cons:The seal inside the pop-up lid is just slightly too large for the drain hole. One of the drains I bought got stuck in the "DOWN" position and would not pop back up- partly because the small silicone seal got caught between the pop-up and the drain. I partly filled the sink with warm water and used a toilet plunger to "suck" the drain from the top with a few quick pulls. I could have taken apart the trap, and pushed up from below, but i tried the plunger first to save time.Under the sink the brass nut that holds the seals together is a fairly loose fit, and we had a bit of a challenge making it water-tight. With about 3X more teflon tape than I normally use, we got it done, but be aware you may need some extra tape round the collar to get this sealed.Would definitely buy more of these when I need to!

I hate those lever stoppers on a bathroom sink as they always have problems. This was easy to install, fit perfect, looks and works great. When it's time, I'll definitely get more of these to replace other bathroom sink drains.

The sink drain kit is easy to install . Ordered two of them, one of them, drain stopper is hard to remove if basket needs to be cleaned out. The other problem is if drain stopper is all the way down (not pressed down to hold a water in a sink),water drains slow filling the sink ,have to pull up the stopper to get the water to flow.

I'd like to first say, I am not a plumber, I have no experience or real knowledge in this sort of thing. I purchased this to fix my girlfriend's sink becausw the old pipe corroded and disconnected with no way to reattach.For the installation, and specifically of this piece if you were replacing a damaged one and not the entire pipe fixture, it was very easy, especially for someone who doesn't know what they are doing. You take the bad part out, you place this one in, and screw it in with the giant nut on the bottom. You're supposed to use channel locks but I didnt have any so I hand tightened it. If you are worried about possible leaking, I sealed the top and bottom with clear aquarium silicone so even if I couldnt get it super tight, ot was tight enough with a waterproof seal. The whole installation took maybe 5 minutes.For the removal, I assume its talking about the drain plug. Because for the fixture removal you just unscrew it. As for the drain plug (which is neat because you just press it to plug, then press it again to unplug, like the cap of a pen, and it actually works well) you can just pull it out no problem, its removable, which goes into the next part.Cleaning. So you remove the drain plug to clean the drain, simple as that. It has a strainer part where the water flows through and it catches hair and the like and if its draining slowly, you just pull out the plug, get the gunk out, and put it back in. No drain snakes or deep cleaning required from there.Overall, easy to instal, affordable, and quick to clean. Sometimes you just find a legitimately good product.That said, again, not a plumber, no formal plumbing knowledge
