I received an open box product. It was clearly used as I could see finger prints on the lens too

Reduces reflections
Recordings are much clearer due to the reduction of glare and reflections that appear when recording through a vehicle window. I highly recommend this filter. However, see the following Note:Note: Not all vehicle windows are compatible with polarizing filters. Although the polarizing filter works well through my vehicle's front windshield, the polarizing filter does not work well though the rear-facing window. This is not a fault of the polarizing filter, but with how the layered vehicle windows are manufactured, which in one vehicle may vary front, rear, and side windows.

great CPL filter
HUGE shout out to Viofo for providing CPL filter for the REAR cam! My 2021 Nissan Sentra has annoying reflection on the back from the rear rack. Nothing I can do about that. Been looking for a dashcam that has CPL filter for the rear cam for days! Finally found this one with A129 Plus Duo. OMG what a difference! Reflection reduced by about 90%. I used this CPL filter for both front and rear.

Makes video better, but
It should come with the camera or be cheaper if you buy with the camera.

Works well
It appears to be a good quality filter and securely clips on to my Viofo dash cam. It really helps in eliminating glare and reflections caused by the windshield.
