I got most functions I use (input, view mode, menu) to work on my more than 11 year old Aquos LC-45GD4U tv. Also, I wrote to their support, and they were extremely responsive. Recommended.

It wouldn't work for me. I inserted the batteries. Waited for the three blinking lights but the TV did not start. Had a younger friend also try it--same result. Very disappointed.
