I bought this watch after reading reviews and doing a bit of research. I had an apple watch but I wanted a watch that would benefit me with my running, so decided on the Garmin Forerunner 55. What a great lightweight watch this is. I've only had it a week and really like it. Battery life is good, records my sleep, walks , runs which is what I predominately bought it for. The Connect app is good and connection is so easy, I'm also connected to Strava. It's a great introduction watch at a good price and I would recommend it. Certainly converted from my Apple watch.

This is a great watch. I only have small wrists and wanted a watch that's lightweight and not too bulky. It was very easy to set on the app and get the hang of the functions. I wanted to be able to track other activities as well as running, which this does, but I do find the calorie count is very low - although I've seen that's pretty common feedback about Garmin watches

Pros: Display readable in sunlight, battery life is outstanding, comfortable, exercise tracking accurate, smart features work well.Cons: Display is low resolution, no touch screen (can't think of anything else, and I knew these cons before buying!)All said, it's a near perfect watch for the price. If you just want a no-frills experience with checking the time/weather/emails/texts and tracking fitness, I don't think you will be disappointed with this watch.It looks really nice and the battery lasts ages, charging speed isn't the fastest but can't expect that in a small watch.9/10 recommend.

Grt entry level Garmin sports watch!!I bought it purely for GPS as I do a lot of forest type Running, works fantastic, one button start stop, simple but efficient!!

The design of the watch is beautiful, very comfortable to wear. The watch app is very easy to use , plenty of great " watch face" to install too. The battery life is very good.

I'd been using the Forerunner 225 daily for about 8 years and it decided to pack up. I was upset because it seems like the battery just stopped working. Looked at replacing and didn't seem worth it so reluctantly bought this. I think it's possibly a bit feminine/fancy looking for me but it's been amazing. It's night and day compared to the old watch I had and it's actually motivated me to run and use it a bit more. Works seemlessly. Very happy!

Needed a reliable more accurate GPS watch. Light weight good battery life. Does what it says on the box. Was fast delivery and no issues so far. Easy set up Bluetooth holds.

Got this as a gift for my daughter who is into running and other sports. She tells me it's perfect for monitoring her stats and it's comfy to wear with it being lightweight and with a large screen, it does exactly what she wants and she's very happy with it.
