Perfect. No lubricant. No black coming off of it. Exactly like I remember. Walked the stairs but as always that takes practice. My kid loves it too.

I’m happy to report that I received a complete order of five Slinkys, this after multiple customers have reported that they received only one of the five promised. Ultimately, this is a novelty toy, which does not stand up to vigorous handling, but they are fun/fascinating while they last. They do make an excellent throw-away gift for adults or children. Will likely order more, now that Amazon seems to have fixed their fulfillment issue.
