Coolaroo90% UV Block Sun Protection and Privacy Screen Shade Fabric Roll

Haven't used it as yet, but getting it sewed to size. It looks great and I am sure it will be just what we expected. It is expensive, but if it lasts like some people said it will be worth it.

THE best sunshade fabric. Long lasting, great shade protection, and good visibility. Bought some 11 years ago and its still going strong in AZ sun.

I bought the 12' x 50' roll and it ended up being perfect for my pergola, which is exactly the same size. The material is not very heavy, and it comes folded up in a large box. I've had it out in the sun for a month now and the wrinkles are still there but otherwise it all laid out really nicely and is easy to use. It lets just the right amount of light through, but blocks most UV rays and keeps our deck much cooler than before. It used to be too hot to even sit on our deck from June through August but now it's very manageable even on the hottest days when we are around 100 degrees. One thing to note is that the material is not cut perfectly on the 12' ends, you'll need to square it up or find a way to hide the ends of the fabric. That gave me a little trouble during install, the roll is so big it's hard to tell until you get it all laid out. The longer 50' sides are perfect so you can square up from them. I was going to order Sunbrella fabric and stitch a couple pieces together to get the width I needed, but found this Coolaroo material and I'm glad I did. It's less expensive and I actually like it better, it lets some light through and doesn't need to be cleaned nearly as much.
