I've had my drone for over 2 years and have less than 12 hours on it. It is a colossal piece of unreliable junk. Here are a few of the issues I have had: Vendor provided wrong size screws for the robotic arm. As a result, threading stripped and arm won't stay secure. DHCP on the wireless relay stopped working entirely (even after a reset) If you attempt to put it in the ocean the drone propellers will immediately get clogged by seashells and stop working. Once this happens you must swim to get the drone as it won't propel itself back with jammed props. As I write this, the SSID no longer broadcasts so I am unable to connect at all. The only response from support was to buy another relay. I have less than 12 hours on the drone because it has never worked reliably well. As it stands today, I have a $4k paper weight due to the issue with SSID.

Not for the dinosaur ages more for tech people. But I’m getting along. Seems rugged enough.

Excellent underwater ROV. Works exactly as described and as expected. Hardware is very solid, very well built, and rugged. Easy to learn to use and control. I've taken it down past 260 feet so far and no problems. Wish there was less lag time in the streaming video, so I hope they continue work on the iPad and iPhone control app. I also bought the grappling arm. Easy to install and works well.

Several Updates over time have made this a much better drone than before. The company has been very responsive to fixing issues. If you've read this post before, read it now with the latest updates as of Oct 15/2019. LATEST UPDATE (10/15) ** iOS App update fixed some major issues! You can now easily download images and videos to your phone in the app. This was a problem before, and is now resolved. ** You can easily delete images off the drone via your iOS device ** The images can be saved with or without the data overlay, great improvement. The result of these recent fixes make this a very solid underwater drone, and certainly one of the best built out there. It is capable of depths much greater than many others, and you can tell by lifting it that it was designed for harsh environments. It is a tank! The other thing that is amazing is the whole case setup. The case is very well designed, and holds all the equipment. (See pics) The image quality is good and it can take very clear pictures. (See attached) My list of feature requests for the team now are: 1. Have a map view so I can see where I am from where I started. Easy to get lost. 2. Wifi feed is a little jerky sometimes - I'd like it to be as smooth as my DJI feed 3. Make the UX for accessing the images and video better/more obvious. Rather than hiding it in the sub-menu for operating the drone, (which took me a while to find) I would suggest adding it to the main screen, and not on the screen used to run the drone. I would also like to see actual thumbnails from pictures and videos vs. static squares. (It looks like that is the idea, but perhaps not fully implemented.) Also for the local to the drone vs local to the device sections, don't use fake placeholder images. These confuse me into thinking that I took the pictures, when I did not. Just a view that shows 'Onboard Drone' and 'Phone Storage' would be easier to understand. 4. Create a setting to fly 1’ (or whatever distance) off the bottom and adjust depth as you move around. 5. Return home command 6. Have a handle or strap to lower into the water. Using the cable seems like a bad idea. I will probably build my own in the meantime. Notes: - The company has been responsive to my input, which shows they care about building a superior product! They have taken feedback well, and through software will be able to improve over time. - This is a very well built system! Very tight and sturdy! I have seen others which are not. - if you want deep water access, this is your best choice!
