I used Braun electric shavers for the last 10+ years and then I discovered Xiaomi electric shavers, it was game over for Braun. Their shaver compared to Xiaomi or other Chinese generic shavers is very bulky, noisy, you have to carry a bulky charger and it breaks down every 1-2 years, and I wasn’t even using it that much (my beard grows thin). Whereas Chinese options, are quiet, small footprint, give equally good shave, water resistant, packed with much batter tech like magnetic lids, locking functions etc. and on top of that battery lasts longer and you can charge them via usb-c for a way lower price, remains to be seen how long they’ll last but I’m using it for 6 months now and had no issues. That being said if you still wish to overpay for Braun, it does give a good shave, has a trimmer as well and is waterproof but be warned that after a year or so of usage, battery will most likely die and you’ll have to buy another one. In my experience it’s not a good value for money, and I was stuck using the brand for so long changing 5-6 different shavers cause I didn’t know any better.
