Works well - good value - Use good batteries

Needs batteries - disappointed as can’t use until someone takes me to get batteries. Looks like it will work great tho- hope so. Giant size is a plus for us elderly.

This product is perfect for my purpose.The lenses on this is not as strong as many magnifying glasses (it claims to be 2X) but that’s not a bad thing. Because of the lower strength, the lenses itself are lighter. I have a smaller glass that’s much stronger, but it’s also much heavier. Also, because it enlarges less than others, there’s also less distortion. It’s much easier to read with this for that reason. When lenses are stronger, you have to move the glass at just the right spot to accommodate the distortion. Not so with these. How much do they magnify? I estimate that when reading a book, like the Bible, with 9pt type, these lenses can easily make that type size appear around 14 pts.Also, I love the little LED lights. I didn’t expect to use those, but they’re great. Because they’re LED they use very little juice from the three AAA batteries.I read a couple comments that this was rather heavy. I’ll push back on that notion. This seems surprisingly light, in my opinion. Especially considering the large lenses.I will say however, it does feel a bit fragile. I don’t think this can endure any drops without falling apart.

A very handy tool!

I need cataract surgery, so until then I need to be able to read.i purchased other magnifiers that were real crap. I was this bought it and have been happy to actually see what I've been missing. Good magnification and the light, that just out it over the top for me. I love it.

The light does not stay on consistently. I'm not sure if it's due to the quality of the switch or the fact that the batteries are not properly retained in position (it seems like they have a little room to shift and then lose their connection).

This magnyfier is really good. The optics are clear and now I can read the smallest of print easily. It is well made and the LEDs are very helful and powerful. It can double as a flashlight when needed, too. I bought 3 of them and gave one to a friend. This is a really good product that does the job very well.
