So, if you ever have the issue of that weird greasy-like junk on the outside of your windshield caking your view when it starts to rain - then this is for you. I had big visibility problem when it rained because oil, dirt, whatever from the road would make it so when I used my windshield wipers - it would almost smear the water.Okay - well just use rain-x. Well, I did and it only help for one rain storm. BUT this stuff!One use can last for several months, even when running it through a car wash. No smearing of rain. And it goes on easier than Rain-x. Rain-x your really have to buff. This stuff goes on like Windex. very little buffing - arguably no buffing or elbow-grease needed.10/10 recommend. It a little pricey, but considering I have to reapply it less - I would say worth it.

Good stuff really puts a shine. You just got to make sure you have two towels one for the formula the second one to buff wait till it completely dries and buff it out real good.

I know it's working because my hand is pruning for an hour now and oh my glass is spotless.

Avoid at all costs. I have purchased Chemical guys stuff for many years. Not they are playing the the "Ceramic" space, things have changed.I purchased the HydroView product for exterior windows on a 2025 new SUV. I like my glass to be clean, ultra clean. I use an optical polish from CG #36 and #38. Thither cleaned the windows with regular windows cleaner. Then, followed the instruction on the bottle and applied the HydroView one windows at a time. I used a cross weave cloth to put on and another to buff. All looked good in the garage, I have pro lighting and climate control. 65 degrees and 55 relative humidity. I wanted the product videos too but they were crap.The next morning, I went in the garage to admire my work and all the windows had smears haze. It was impossible to buff off or remove. I called Chemical guys and they had no explanation and they said I would need to polish each windows again to remove the product. No offer of a refund, root cause, etc. The next day I did a little googling and found many folk with the same issue.No more Chemical Guys products for me.
