It's a classic sweet treat!
Candy was still fresh with no chocolate ashiness. This is an American classic sweet treat. It came in a plastic bag somewhere to what you would purchase in the store but this was a better value for the dollar.

a real classic treat ~ loved for generations
I was at a loss this Christmas on what to buy for my eleven grandchildren, besides their usual gift cards. When I asked my daughter what her 2 kiddos would like, she suggested their favorite candy to go along with their $50 VISAs...so I asked the others about their kids as well.
