Lo instalé en una Ford Explorer Sport 2001. Encajan perfecto y la instalación es de nivel bajo. El material es de muy buena calidad y lo recibí en perfecto estado. Mi problema era que mi puerta no cerraba correctamente y había que usar un poco más de fuerza para que así lo hiciera. No me gustaba aveces azotarla. Ahora cierra correctamente y sin esfuerzo. Mi recomendación es que antes de cambiarla, con un marcador delinear el contorno completamente, servirá como guía. Ya que al momento de aflojar tiene "juego".

Replacing my old door hinge with this new one was simple, easy, straightforward and it did exactly what it was supposed to do. Now there is no cold draft coming throw the “B” pillar over my shoulder while I drive.

I bought a pair of these for my 1997 Explorer. Like for many of us, the striker bolt and housing were fine, but the grommets had disintegrated so I just bought the grommet kit from Dorman. They didn't work at all, too big in diameter and too loose on the bolt, they disintegrated almost immediately. So, I bought the complete unit. Hoping it might work. I don't know why but the complete units went right in, fit like a glove and work perfectly. It's a mystery to me but all's well that ends well.
