I LOVE this brand of milk thistle. As a life longer drinker of wine (and other things) since the age of 16 (I am now 62), I only started getting liver pain more recently, off and on, when I tried to drink like I was still young. Totally stupid, I know. Anyway, using this liquid milk thistle combined with giving my liver a couple months rest has me feeling very revitalized and healthy. After 2 months of abstinence, I cautiously had 2 glasses of red wine while I cooked dinner last week and was delighted to find that I had no liver pain or discomfort at all by this time. I am using this product every day for general health and keeping the drinking to a minimum. Also, this MT has a vegetable base, not an alcohol one. I know this sounds crazy but I actually have learned to like the taste. The liquid is easy to swallow and its priced reasonably. Totally happy with this product!!

My exotics veterinarian recommended milk thistle to add to my pet’s daily medication as a way to help shrink her liver (as found under an X-ray). Seemed odd to me to do this, but at 6 month recheck there was a reduction in size and the milk thistle has been tolerated it well. No smell or taste that I can discern when taking it myself. But overall it’s improved her quality of life, which is the most important thing for my Rose.

I have bought this brand of milk thistle tincture several times. I always take a dose after I have a glass or two of wine to support my liver. Milk thistle is a great liver detoxer. The taste isn’t too bad. I can easily swallow it and then drink water afterwards. The price is decent.
