Excellent, worked a treat.
I ordered this and the other type with a clamp. I didn't use the other type as this was easier. I used it in a Mk7 honda accord ctdi, no problems, I used 3/8 extensions but I'd recommend 1/2 extension bars and a breaker bar, the tie rods were on very tight and I thought I'd snap the extension bars. The actual tool is solid and gave no problems, 5*****

Works, but a bit fiddly
Used to remove a couple of stubborn inner rods on my mk8 honda civic. Was a bit fiddly to get it to grip and there is a knack to this! But managed to get them off easily enough with a breaker bar and some force.

Quality item worth it
Totally worth the money, I'd say! It's really nice and the quality is great, feels like it will last. The metalwork is impressive and works perfectly on my small gadget. Honestly, I'm really happy with my purchase. Excellent stuff!

Good but not great
Quite fiddly but did do the job. Removal wasn't easy but was able to get the tie rod off using the tool. I would suggest using an adjustable wrench if space allows. Build quality was good. Good to keep in the tool chest for future.

I have multiple inner tie rod removers. To be completely honest, this isn't my go-to...but when you need it, you NEED it. IT SAVED MY BUTT, heres why: My sisters 2014 elantra GT 2.0 is a trooper. It hits curbs OFTEN, poor thing. The most recent time it ended up with a lower control arm that just kind of looked like a folded taco shaped pretzel. When i was down there i noticed the outer tie rod was a little bent, and the inner had lost its boot. Here is where it gets hairy. The thing does not have a slot for any wrench/tire rod tool. Literally the inner tie rod is just a round freaking ball. Confused, i first turned to google, where the consensus was to REMOVE THE RACK AND PINION AND TAKE A PIPE WRENCH TO IT ON YOUR BENCH. Aint nobody got time for that. Enter this little tool. Put a long 1/2 extension on there, with a big ratchet or breaker bar and it came right off. Got it done just as fast as the normal slip-on type inner tie rod tool. The aftermarket moog tie rods i put on thankfully had a slot for tool/wrench so installation was easy. My girlfriend drives a 99 lifted 4runner, so inner tie rods and ball joint work has become pretty much a yearly activity.

I have used this tool to remove 2 tie rods. Works well, good quality especially for the price.
