A lovely bean
Very nice coffee, good strong taste, high quality beans and great value for money. Lovely smell when ground and an enjoyable experience all around. Will be buying again.

Good but expensive
This is good coffee I really enjoyed it but I won't buy it again as it has tripled in price in three years. Shame.

Lovely, but too expensive today
I love this coffee. It may be too dark, bitter for many afficiandos, but for good or ill this is the perfect coffee flavour profile for me.However, the recent price rises mean I now buy direct from the manufacturer. Nearly half the price compared to what it is selling for currently here.

NOT!...one of the best reasonably priced decaff beans I've tasted. Push it on drinkers that say they don't like decaff then show them the bag. The bags are only 904g rather than kilo and that irks a little. San Francisco coffee company from South Wales appeals to pythonesque sense of humour. Rounded, light smokey but not bitter. Well worth trying.

Flavourful but a bitter twang!
Full on flavour coffee however it has quite a bitter taste/aftertaste that doesn't add to the pleasure for me. Bought the 1kg so will use the 1kg but it won't be my first "go to" coffee of the day. Expected a smoother experience for the price but it was worth trying going by other reviewers. A nice enough coffee especially if you like your espresso with a twang!!

Ground equals Beans quality
Surprised to find that there seems to be no loss of taste or quality between this ground version and the beans version...and the ground (at least this purchase time) price was much cheaper than the increasingly expensive beans product.

a good product but price increases have killed it for me.
nothing wrong with the product and have been buying it for years. I think it started out at £11, then it went to £13 and recently it went to £15+, I did hesitate at that price but decided to go ahead with a subscription. my first delivery was just about to be sent when I go a notification to say it had increased to £20 (£19 something) on subscription. I have cancelled it, I know everything is going up in price but 25% on a short period of time is a bit much

Worth the price.
This has become my go to coffee. A full bodied full flavoured bean at a price that is affordable.
