Brilliant!!! Using this to extend my internet to a remote structure...
APPLICATION: I'm connecting an RV approximately 350' away from the structure with the router. I am using an exterior grade cat6 wire in an underground conduit which goest to an exterior box with an ethernet port in it. I then have a 50 cat6 patch cable going from that exterior ethernet box into the RV to a switch on the network in the RV. I could not use a wifi connection as there is no line of sight between the structure where the router is and the RV (I tried that first). THE PROBLEM: I have had an intermittently unstable internet connection over a cat6 wire running in a conduit underground. The connection would suddenly stop working on a switch but would still work on a computer or my wifi antenna. MY THEORY: The cat6 cable run between the remote structure and the router is just at the edge of too far away for a stable connection. SOLUTION: This product appears to have remedied my issue. I have a network at the receiving end and everything works fine so far. Speeds are insignificantly slower than the original connection when it was plugged directly into my computer. I am using the asymmetrical option. I'll update this review if anything fails but so I believe this is a permanent fix. Glad I found this product and happy it seems to work well and be easy to set up.

Rock solid option for extending passed ethernet limitations, rugged use
I purchased this in Sept. 2021 not expecting much in terms of network speeds and durability. We have both parts installed in in-ground registers, which are humid and have some temperature swings. Also, we have constant power outages. This device is rock-solid and the least of my worries when the power flickers. It powers on and we are back online. We use it to extend 450' to our house, which is surprisingly on the low end of the device's limits! I am very happy with this purchase, very easy to set up.

...
A few years ago, my wife and I had telephone and DSL internet service installed at our mountain cabin in Vermont. Later, we built a barn and ran a CAT5e cable 1,300 feet up the wooded mountainside between the cabin and the barn, so we could have a telephone in the barn. The phone in the barn worked well, but internet signals can't be transmitted reliably farther than about 300 feet by CAT5e cable.. Still later, I wired a cordless-telephone base station in the barn to master three cordless phones in our newly-built house, about 70 feet from the barn. But we still needed to extend our existing internet signal from the cabin to the barn, and from there to the house. A wireless bridge of two TP-Link CPE units couldn't "punch through" 1,300 feet of dense mountainside forest, and building two tall towers to get line-of sight above the trees wasn't practical for us. This kit (Tupavco Ethernet Extender Kit - 2pc Pair...) solved the problem. Using two wires in the CAT5e cabin-to-barn run that weren't used for the telephone, I connected the VDSL port of the ethernet extender in the cabin to the matching port of the extender up in the barn. Back down in the cabin, I connected the LAN port of the ethernet extender to the DSL modem/router, then went back up to the barn and connected the LAN port of the barn's extender to a TP-Link CPE210 , which I had I configured as an access point. I mounted the TP-Link unit on the outside wall of the barn, aimed it at the house, and checked the house for intenet signal.. The house is now flooded with a strong and stable internet signal, without the monthly expense and problems reported by many users of satellite internet services. 2018jul27(17:36)-sls

Works like a charm
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Had a long run to my gate, always gave me problems. This worked like a charm. Super simple and no fiddling required.

A waste of time
I have a gate, about 1500 feet away (350 meters) but including all the additional wiring in the house and the panel i exaggerate. Long story short, i have tested the unit with a short cable first, about 100 feet of Ethernet cat5, it synced fine. Now the gate has a phone, i can call just fine from the gate to the house, so i just wanted to replace the existing wiring to a doorbell and a wired connecting. 6 hours later of driving back and forth between the gate and the house, i gave up. i followed the instructions, and the fact that it syncs with the short cat5 cable, i just dont believe it works over the 800 feet that people stated here. Either the unit is faulty, or it just doesnt work support doesnt answer anytime. Waste of time and money, lucky im within the 30day window.

It works
I use this as CO to connect a VDSL gateway, it works. However it was damaged during 15KV ESD testing, it's not a very robust design on DSL side, but should be OK for normal usage.

Performance seems good
I am quite happy with these so far. My traffic from one building to another is actually going through two sets of these, about 500' and 700'. Ping tests are showing latency to be almost non-existent. Hopefully they will be durable and last many years.

Super product. Wroks GREAT!
I cannot say enough about this item. Sorry I am limited to only 5 stars. * * * * * Here I will give it another 5 Worked right out of the box after setting the co/cpe switches. I have been trying to run security cameras 600 ft from the dvr with poor success. I tried 'balun' connectors but got waving pictures. I put the 'co' unit behind my router and used cat5 cable that was in place, although I think it will work with almost any copper pair. 600 ft down the line I put the 'cpe' unit and connected to the dvr. Immediate success! There is so much you can do with this. You can add a bridge to extend your network or a router to create a new separate network. Wish I would have come across this last year before wasting time and money. It's a little pricey, but well worth it and cheaper than others on the market. I could go on forever, I am so pleased with this.
