人骨の島。舞台は、ずいぶん南下したキーウエスト。Season 3の8話「呪いのクリスマス」あのひと時を、もっと二人に味わってほしいと思った人は多いはず。これは1週間後のエピソード。彼らはボビー宅で乾杯しているところから始まる。しかもビールじゃなくてシャンパンだ。前半はコミカルで、さくさく読める。後半は結構マジだが、ちょっとSFファンタジーっぽい。いくつかポイントを紹介するので、よければ参考に サウスダコタからフロリダまでのドライブが楽しそう。 ディーンの女友達が経営しているホテルに泊めてもらうのだが、 サムは自分だけの部屋を用意してもらえる。たまにはイイよな、ヨカッタな！ （チャンネル争いやらバスルームの使い方やら、実際いろいろあるじゃないか） 一方、ディーンとシェアするネイラー船長 （ざっくり説明すると、ディーンも認めるクールなオジサマってとこか？） とても物分かりの良い紳士だが、三人の会話シーンが漫才のようだ。 （誰がボケツッコミかは、想像してください） ツアーガイドの視点から捉えた、二人の様子が述べられている部分は珍しかった。 そのガイドに誤解される前に！と（されたけどな）先手をうって兄弟アピールするサムとか、 ヤフェットという、ものすごく怪しい詩人（ディーンの知り合い。男だよ）から詩を買うサムとか、 ヘミングウェイの話をきいて、ちょっと興奮気味？のサムは可愛い……かもしれない。 あと、スヌーピーがでてくる。 詳しくは読んでのお楽しみだ！ Wish I could go to Florida as a vacation one day. Watching them, I recalled my experience of staying at a hotel in California with my sibling years ago. (without hunting nor Knott's Berry Farm) We were not able to get money from banks due to public holiday. Way to share a bed ad hoc saving our money was a quite good idea, well, it turned to hell. You know, as I tend to punch, and... Incidentally, I cannot get pythonesque stuff out of my mind. Then another one around "reading rocks" below. Dean: What does it say, brother? Sam: It reads, "Aaauuuggghhh" Dean: That's my Sammy!

Sam and Dean drive down to Florida to invest the extrem presence of many ghost in a small tourist resort (incl. former US presidents and famous writers) and end up facing the wrath of an exterminated native american tribe. Dean is facing his own mortality due to selling his soul for Sam's live and you can read this between the lines and sometimes written quite obvious. Still this little thing might just come in handy for the boys. BoneKey is well written, some funny moments, some "really,you did not see this coming"moments and most of all just a good book to read while you wait for the next season to be out on DVD. I'm quite sure, reading this book in summer with the sun shining and a drink in your back, might even transport you to Key West. The author does a good job in bringing the reader to the small town in florida. Enjoy this book!

Really fun to read. I usually never read novels, but I legitimately enjoyed this one. You can just picture what is going on in the scene and hear the characters in your head.

Well written. Worth reading. Characters are well defined and plot flows smoothly.
