Challenging Fun
I just finished assembling this puzzle after quite a bit of solo work. It was a truly enjoyable challenge and the best kind of puzzle -- one where you feel a little daunted but never think "I'll never get this done." The cut on my puzzle was the kind with all the same type of pieces (so not random) and it was fine -- once or twice I had the wrong piece in the wrong spot but it was a rare occurrence and definitely not annoying. The finished product is gorgeous! I highly recommend this puzzle for someone who likes a real challenge.

Excellent quality
The finished puzzle is absolutely stunning, but this puzzle is EXTREMELY challenging. We framed the puzzle when we were done. Would recommend this 1000%. Great quality puzzle.

Very difficult
Only puzzle I have ever done since I was a kid. Was for a coworkers birthday present. I think for me the hardest part was the middle. All of the parts look the same. Take your time going out to inwards and don’t get too frustrated. Take breaks, some pieces look just like each other.Took me about 3weeks to a month to complete.

Some of the dastardly cuts on the pieces will puzzle you pretty hard. And I have to say
This puzzle is crazy hard. Whomever designed the cut of these pieces really has it out for the puzzler. Some of the dastardly cuts on the pieces will puzzle you pretty hard. And I have to say, thank you, very well done! Couple that with this Van Gogh, and you have a very good challenge in this puzzle.Aside from that, an excellent production. The color and quality of the printing is outstanding, the pieces fit perfectly, and every brush stroke is there (and quite often that's all you have to go on). It is making me feel like I'm now a Starry Night scholar. My first thought is to frame it after it's done, it will be that much of an accomplishment!

Big challenge!
This is the most difficult puzzle you can imagine. Any single piece has the possibility of fitting into 5 or more areas. Color is no help. Shape is no help. Neither is direction of brush strokes. Requires strong light source to discern slight shifts in color.

You are accepting a challenge.
My mom and I get together once a month to do a puzzle. Always 1000 pieces or more, so we are not puzzle newbies. After putting together another art puzzle (Audrey of Mulberry; by another company) it gave us both a deeper appreciation of the work, so we jumped at the chance to do this one. Some positives for me are that this company prints most of their puzzles in the USA (to me a plus) and I can report that I have not had a puzzle with so little puzzle dust after the original sort. Upon completion the image is crips with a fair good amount of detail. As for the image "Starry Night" was painted using only 5 colors and is done in the impressionist style (if you didn't know). The limited color palette and impasto brush strokes going in every direction made this challenging enough. The real kicker of this puzzle was that all of the pieces (not counting the border) are all a for of the traditional H shape piece (2 tabs, and 2 blanks). What normally takes us a few hours, took us days. For a minimum of 4 hours each day we worked on it. The last day we had 264 pieces left it took us a combined 11 hours. Now that it has been a few months since we completed it and we are no longer mad enough to go Van Gogh crazy, I can say that I did enjoy the puzzle (Mom is still on the fence) and I did find new things to enjoy about "Starry Night", but it was tougher than anticipated. It was a challenge we accepted but we are both glad it's over.

Bought for my son.
I found my son was a fan of all things Starry Night and puzzles. Loved finding this and ordered it for him. He was thrilled. Looks pretty cool too.

Nice quality, but buyer beware of the cut!!
So here is the deal....I researched this image and decided on this brand because of the really good reviews especially the first one which showed a pic of the really cool piece designs, dastardly cuts. That intrigued me, so I bought it. Box is great, very well put together, however, to my extreme dismay, the puzzle that I received was a ribbon cut, all the pieces are the EXACT SAME DESIGN! That is not what I was expecting to receive what so ever. What a fraud. I wrongly assumed I would get a random cut puzzle because that is what I like to complete and work on, not this piece of junk ribbon cut version. Rip off city. I contacted the manufacturer and they were of absolutely no help at all. They do not have the capability to even know what kind of cuts are in their puzzle boxes. Can you imagine that nonsense?? True. I read somewhere else too that all of their puzzles will be ribbon cut in the future, cannot verify that, but that would not surprise me at all. If a puzzle is a ribbon cut, that should be clearly marked on the box. If you want to put together a puzzle where every piece looks the same, be my guest. Not my cup of tea at all. Very, very disappointed! If someone can direct me to this same puzzle with a random cut piece design, please do so. I would appreciate that very much!
