Great buy
Great knife company I have 3 different knives well made very sharp out of the box. Cheap enough you don't cry if you loose it will buy more later.

Worth having
Mora makes a good knife, and this is no exception. It seems to hold an edge very well and the grip is great. For me, it is sized perfectly. The sheath is a little scary, it is open and odd to get used to.

Amazing knife.
As someone who carries and uses a Mora on a daily basis, I figured it would be a good idea to try one for the kitchen. I wasn't disappointed. It uses a different grind than their standard knives, but is crazy sharp and holds an edge as well as the classics. I would say that it's a good blade for the price, but it's just a good blade period. I've never been disappointed with a Mora.

Razor sharp out of the box. good steel
I lost my old trusted rapala fillet knife and I though I would try this brand. I have seen the YouTube videos about these Morakniv's and wanted to get a survival one, but thought I would try the fillet knife since I needed one. It came razor sharp out of the box, which is not a necessity for me, I am good at sharpening and I usually expect to have sharpen a new knife, but not this guy. It shaved my arm hair effortlessly out of the box, I didn't even need to strop it (but I did anyway) I filleted one fish so far and I worked amazing. Perfect amount of flex in the blade. Made in Sweden which is cool, I prefer USA made but as long as it's not China I'm good. The sheath is pretty cheap, but i didn't buy a sheath, I bought a knife, It just sits in my drawer at home anyways waiting for the fish I bring home. For $25 I'd say it's a great blade. *UPDATE: One year later and I have filleted a lot of fish with this knife, maybe a hundred, and it is amazing. It holds an edge for a long time, which means hard steel that takes a little more time to sharpen but worth it. I highly recommend this knife.

You Can Pay More or Less For a Fillet Knife, But....
Well, simply put, if you are in the market for a fillet knife, look no farther. You have found the best. This knife will exceed your expectations for a fillet blade. If you know anything about Morakniv, then you understand that this knife, as all others they make, are unique, sharp, utilitarian, and useful. You can pay more for a fillet knife, but you will not get a better blade. You can pay less for a fillet knife, but in the end, if you ever try one of these Swedish crafted blades, you may wish you had purchased this. I have no connection with this company. I was just fortunate to have found the Morakniv knife brand on Amazon. I own several types of Moraknives and am very pleased with them, more so than many other brands of knives I have owned over the years. Whatever knife you choose from this company, you may well come to realize that the knife is worth far more than you paid for it: Such is my opinion of Moraknives, and if you read other reviews, you will see that my opinion is but a shadow. I use this knife to fillet fish, yes, but I also use this knife in the kitchen as a boning knife. I especially choose this knife to trim fat from meats I intend to cook so the term "fillet" knife to me is a non sequitur, meaning it has many uses beyond filleting. In the end, though, this knife can fillet fish and do it very, very well.

Good
Very good knife. Probably the best choice in that price category.Sweden steel- the best on market. Japanese, Swiss- Viktorinox- all of them- Sweden steel. Of course if you jump-200$ category- you will have a better option.

Lightweight and Razor Sharp
This fillet knife is fantastic for the price. It’s well-balanced, flexible, and slices through fish like butter. Took it on a fishing trip and it handled everything from trout to kokanee with ease. Comfortable grip and easy to clean. A solid tool to add to your tackle box.
