Great product
Works with Astro A40TR mixamp, thought I'd leave a review stating this as I couldn't see one that said the lead works with astro mix amps. Only difference is the lead doesn't have a mute button

Suitable but will need replacement every year or so depending on use.
It's a nice cheaper and much more available replacement for the Astro A40 TR headset cable, the inline volume control is a nice feature however the quality and durability of the cable itself is questionable as like with the previous one i ordered, after a few dozen/hundred tangles of the cable it starts to destroy itself from the end that plugs into the headset.I purchased these before as immediate backups as Astro's replacement cable is stupidly expensive and rarely ever in stock plus it's poor quality, i've enjoyed this replacement item and for the price im satisfied with the quality however it is not a forever replacement and must be replaced due to the first paragraphs mentioned problem where the cable is twisted and destroys itself due to the braiding putting a lot of tension on the internal wires causing them to frey and fail over time.

2nd replacement I’ve had to get
I broke original wire by vacuuming the wire and it snapping 😅😂 initial replacement broke after around 3 weeks, I’ve had this one 2 months now, and as good as the original, have yanked it out a few times accidentally ran the wire over with my gaming chair several times and yeah the wire works as it should still. Was expecting it to be flimsy and have broken by now but the braided cable is great.

Got this cause my previous replacement broke it was from somewhere else and was very cheap, this one however seems to be better quality and should last longer! Happy
