No pesky batteries, excellent design, smooth use
I have grown tired of battery-powered keyboards. The batteries always seem to run out at the most inopportune moment. If you're going to buy a corded keyboard, buy the best - this Cheer Stream keyboard has a lovely smooth, quiet action and is 100% plug and play. I bought one for home and one for the office so the layout is always familiar. I bought two corded mice at the same time, for the same reason.

I was searching for TenKeyLess low profile keyboard for a long time. Finally I found it. This is a global delivery. But, well worth every rupee. These are scissor key switches. Their layout is perfect. Very less key travel. They are comfortable to press. I never use the numpad, so for me this is PERFECT. That numpad space is used for the Mouse. You don't have to download any software for this keyboard. Just plug it in and work. CAPSlock and ScrollLock keys have LED indicators. You get a separate media keys row on the top. Function keys are separate. There is no "Fn" key nonsense. You have the key for right click menu. I was using Cherry MX Brown mechanical switches with my previous keyboards. They are great, but I wanted something lowprofile. Same company is now making low-profile keyboards as well. What more do I want. :-) Great keyboard. For gaming, maybe you can go with mechanical keyboards. But, for WFH setup and everyday use this is a super keyboard.

I have to say, I spent so much time comparing different keyboards. Mechanical, slim, membrane, scissor-switch, red, brown, blue switchers, Keychron, Ducky, Logitech, Microsoft, Dell the list goes on... I even ended up buying a Keychron slim keyboard along with my Microsoft membrane board. I've tried traditional mechanical keyboards and membrane keyboards and I have to say, without any doubt... This is 100% the BEST keyboard I have ever used by a long way. Firstly, it is a quality made product. Plastic, yes. But the plastic is of a fine grade, feels "tight", that's the best way I can put it. Nice to the touch. There's a very fine "grainy" quality to the plastic that I've never experienced before, but it's as if it is a denser grade of plastic. Feels so solid, and beautiful to touch and type on. Typing action is "punchy", borderline "clicky". Especially for what is technically membrane. If you're used to membrane, these "scissor-switches" will blow your mind. They feel fantastic. It really does have a nice clicky-ness to it that will improve your typing accuracy and just feels just so much more satisfying to type on without hurting your hands/wrists at all. And this was my final point. If you are buying this keyboard for ergonomic or injury reasons due to RSI, wrist, hand or arm problems - this is the keyboard for you. It's smaller TKL form factor leaves your arms more room to move and is far more comfortable while using a mouse. It's great for ergonomics, as is the super-slim design. Bonuses: media keys up the top. Do not feel as nice as the regular keys (letters and numbers) below. However, this is a very nice addition, and it is what drew me to the Stream TKL in the first place. Buy it. I spent literal weeks deciding whether or not to get the Cherry Stream TKL, and now look at me. Writing an essay on how much I love this keyboard. I wish I bought it sooner.

I have always been happy with my fingers on a cherry.

I work fulltime at home in an office setting. I type for a living and as such, I have gone through many, many keyboards over the years. I have always been a fan of mechanical keyboards. The most recent keyboard I was using was a Hyper X with Cherry blue switches that I have been using for the past two years. Prior to that, I had a Steelseries keyboard with their own branded mechanical blue switches. I used to love typing on a mechanical keyboard, but over time, I have grown tired of the clicking and clacking, as well as the force required to press the keys, and the tall height as well. When you type hundreds of documents a month, your fingers on a mechanical keyboard become fatigued. I was in the market for a new (non mechanical) keyboard for my work purposes and I know from experience that Cherry is a high quality, trusted brand. I used to use scissor switches years back before I moved to mechanical and my last scissor switch keyboard was a Logitech which was amazing. I figured I would give this keyboard a try, and all I can say is Wow! I LOVE the typing experience on this Cherry keyboard. The TKL layout brings my mouse hand closer inwards which helps with an ergonomic setup. The keys are very soft, quiet and still have a very tactile feel with a nice “pop” feeling with each press. The keys have a rough-ish texture that helps with finger grip. As well, they are wide and easy to press with even the slightest touch. These are no mechanical keys, which, for me, is a great benefit and exactly what I was hoping for. Absolutely love everything about this keyboard. It looks premium, feels extremely durable and high quality. It is an all plastic design, but it feels every bit as solid as my steel mechanical keyboards. I just can’t believe how low the price was on such a quality product from a well known company! If you type for a living and you are not a fan of mechanical keyboards, then you will NOT be disappointed with this. It is small, compact, yet still large enough to comfortably type on and it feels very nice and high quality. Love this keyboard!

Het is een heel prettig toetsenbord ter vervanging van mijn vorige Cherry die al 20 jaar oud was en nog steeds goed werkt.
