If your mouse / keyboard support ps/2 adapters, these will work well
Simple passive USB to PS/2 adapter. Despite being green (mouse) it will work with keyboards too (how I'm using mine). As long as your mouse/keyboard supports using passive PS/2 adapters you'll be fine. Luckily for me, I was Ok!Active adapters are out there, but much more expensive. Google blue cube ps/2 for an idea!

Simple product; reasonable price
I bought this adapter to allow use of a wireless connection for a Roland VS-2000CD digital audio workstation. Unfortunately, having tried it, the Roland does not seem designed to allow a wireless connection. I do not think that this is due to a problem with the adapter. The Roland has only a single port for a mouse. I wanted to use a wireless USB keyboard and mouse that share a single transmitter but it is not working with this device. I can continue to use a wired PS/2 mouse but was hoping to eliminate the clutter of the wires. I also have an older computer that I am going to try it with.
