"Helix" High Back Office Chair Designed To Adjust & DIY (Mesh,Grey)

A premium chair with good fit and finish, with rich feature-set that is usually associated with these chairs. Swivel, height adjustment, arm height, arm pad forward/ reverse, tilt, chair lean back with tightening control and lock, seat back and forward (this is slightly less in terms of movement), lumbar support (the range of movement is low). Wheels are smooth enough. Not sure they have a lock but then I do not require that feature. Preferred this with plastic construction over the chairs with chrome construction as this keeps weight down. Cushioning is good and looks premium, the back support is through stretchable thin material, apart from the lumbar support fixture. Personally, prefer this Grey over black that is usually associated with chairs at work place. Ergonomics would depend on how the chair is set-up. So far no issues with extended seating. Chair does appear slightly tall particularly with the headrest (the chairs with headrest are called HB - High back and the ones without are called MB - Medium back). It would be apparent it is an office chair/ work from home chair and cannot be blended/ mixed with home furniture easily. It is an expensive chair but would tick all/ most boxes if one is looking for a good premium, work from home chair. Was delivered in under a day. Was unpacked, assembled by the delivery agent in about 10 minutes and the packing material carried away. Knew exactly what was required. Delivery was directly from the company.

Excellent chair, got it on a very good deal on Amazon, only issue is that since it's a DIY , might not be a good idea for people who are not savvy or senior citizens to buy this through Amazon, Featherlite being a premium company sadly doesn't offer an installation service which is bad considering this is a very expensive chair But all in all, it's an excellent choice for people with back issues, comfortable and good in quality

First of all, the delivery was done by Delivery and it took longer than it should've (was at my city hub for 2 days before it was delivered) Now, the chair itself - it was very easy to assemble. Only 7 screws in total that you need to put on the chair. I enjoyed assembling this chair compared to my other Green Soul Monster chair. The lumbar support is aggressive, it will always be there. This is a preference thing. Some people may like this alot or just hate it because it is always sticking into your lower back. I personally find it okay because I sit for long hours and I need the support. The seat is adjustable, you can make it go forward if that's something you wish to do for better comfort according to your body. The armrests are WAY better than of Green Soul's, I really like their texture and how smoothly they can adjust. They are 4D adjustable. The headrest, I am quite disappointed by the headrest because before buying I looked at the reviews, everyone kept saying this chair is for tall people and I am 5'11 - I can say that I am taller than average people in the country and I was hoping the headrest to be higher. And since it is FIXED IN PLACE. I cannot adjust it to go higher or lower. That's the biggest con of this chair. Back seat is really breathable and comfortable, another doubt I had before buying was if I will find a mesh comfortable after coming from a fabric backseat but I am absolutely impressed by how good this is. The lumbar support feels actually cooler to touch somehow which is a plus. Other than that, the chair has a nylon base and nylon wheels, I am hopeful they are actually durable and sturdy, I am on the heavier side and I bought this chair after making sure it can hold up some weight (recommended limit is 150KGs) I am around 120KGs. Overall, I am happy with the chair although this is an expensive chair and it needs to be considered thoughtfully because everyone's body is different and requires different needs. I will suggest to first go to an offline store and see how the chair feels before making your decision. But as a big dude, I can recommend it to anyone else who is tall and heavy like myself.

Very easy to assemble, comes with all the parts and tooling needed to assemble at home. It's got everything you need in an office chair: Lumbar support, 4-way adjustable armrests, height adjustment, angle-lock for the back rest, tension adjuster and headrest. If you spend considerable amount of time seated at a desk, I highly recommend you invest in a good chair with a contoured back like this one. It'll do wonders to your back.

Easy to assemble and good quality. The build quality looks solid. This is my second purchase, I am quite happy with the cushion quality, fabric and back support.

Don't be fooled by the hundreds of chinese component chairs available on amazon. 99% of them use the same factory parts and will break down in 1.5 - 2 years. The featherline Helix is sturdy and designed and made in India. I'm a big guy and it handles my weight without any issue. The recline and rocking feature is premium. The headrest feels comfortable. The lumbar support and arm rests could be a little better but those are really minor complaints on a sub 25k chair. This is the chair you need if you're someone who spends more than 6-7 hours sitting during the day. I have the Steelcase Gesture which is 1 lakh + chair and I would rate the Helix just slightly less better than that chair. If you've got a sub 30k budget and plan to use a chair for 5+ years go for the HELIX without any fear.

This chair has many deficiencies. The most glaring is the hard seat. I had to buy a GiGi Pure Memory Foam Seat to compensate for the hardness. Another complaint is the very short seat length. Someone here wrote a review that this chair is only for tall people. He complained that the chair has long under-thigh support. Obviously, that person must be a midget. The under-thigh support of this chair is not that great compared to Featherlite Nova Medium. Helix is suitable for short people. It has good back support though and is easy to assemble. Always buy such items from a shop no matter what the discount online.
