Beautifully made, well balanced, multiple handholds
I’ve wanted a hand-carved hardwood trekking staff for ages, but I don’t have a lathe or the proper carving tools. This is ideal for artistic modification if you’re into that. It’s lovely dark oak with lots of character, nicely stained, just the right weight, length, and heft. Perfectly balanced from end to end. It was priced low enough that it won’t break my heart if I wreck it (I will eventually). Excellent dog-walking staff. Great for traipsing through woods and moving vines and brush aside. (Might need it some day for smacking sense into a gator who wants to see what my Hokas taste like. This is Florida - gators are everywhere and encounters near water are inevitable.) I like the curves in this Ergo design, and might get the Hitchhiker as well. Like being able to support homegrown manufacturers! Also this seller ships quickly and boxes it up nicely, delivery was fast with no damage.

Nice quality walking stick
Sturdy, nicely decided walking stick. Only issue I had with the order is the rubber tip was missing. This was quickly remedied as they fedex'd and I had it in a couple of days. Would order again

Comfortable and sturdy
This walking stick has been such a blessing. It is smooth with comfortable hand positions. It is also beautiful. I get compliments and sometimes long conversations when I go out with it. People ask about the price and are always surprised at how reasonable it is. I highly recommend this product.

Nice sturdy stick
The length was perfect for me (I'm 6'). It's very durable. I've used it to cross roaring streams putting my body weight on the stick, and it held up fine. The reason I went with a full length stick, instead of those portable high tech walking sticks is I feel the length is beneficial when hiking on inclines in mountainous rocky territory. Also, I've lost sticks crossing rivers where I end up with just the handle, because the currents ripped the stick portion right out. And if you are assisting others with your stick, I've had collapsable sticks come apart, which isn't that great safety wise.Because this is a more natural wood, there was a slight bend halfway down my stick. So far, it doesn't seem to cause any issues with stability or structural integrity. Oddly, it's at the perfect distance on the stick, so that it balances at the bend. The other issues I had with the stick is that it did not come with a hiking point. I had to get a walking stick hardware kit to put at the end. Rockler sells one, and I used the medium sized. I had to sand the tip a bit to make the hardware kit to fit. But the stick is 100x better with one.The other issue I had is that the rubber tip that came with the stick is more of a furniture bottom. The stick is very thick at the bottom, about 1", might taper down to 3/4". But I found that the rubber tip that came with the stick was not suited for hiking on rocky surfaces. It would work fine if you were walking on even surfaces like a sidewalk or in the house. But the tip kept slipping on rocks when I put pressure at slight angles. And because of the thick nature of the stick, most hiking rubber tips will not fit. Which is why I bought the hardware kit so that I could get a hiking tip to fit on it.So for hikers, especially those that hike inclines, rocky terrain, or off terrain. I would strongly recommend you get a hardware kit to put on this stick.

Nice walking stick
Ordered this walking stick and I do like it very much. The reason for the 3 stars are because it did not say there were no rubber tips or leather Strap that came with it. So I reached out to the company and them if it came with it or not so I knew weather I had to buy rubber tips for it. They said they had no record of my Purchase and did not say if they came with them or not. So not knowing and wanting to use it I ordered a pair off amazon and paid extra for overnight.

Great quality and cheap price. I am really very happy with purchase. I've bought it not for walking but as an exercise prop. Great stick!

Well crafted, solid oak walking stick.
Well crafted, solid oak walking stick. I got the taller version to use while hiking on uneven terrain, you can adjust your grip up or down as needed. Made in Texas.

Much better than a cane!
Excellent for a little support when walking! The groves for your hands are very comfortable. I am unable to use a cane due to wrist weakness, but this is a game changer!

Beautiful Oak
Really nice piece of wood well done I'm really impressed the only thing is it never came with a rubber end stop at the bottom of the walking stick which makes it very slippery when trying to walk with it not to mention ruining the wood that's why I delete one star
