The best coffee I have tried!
I tend to be skeptical of effusive reviews because about half the time, the product doesn't really live up to all of the hype and you end up feeling duped. I am a real person giving a real review, though, and this is the best coffee I have ever made, whether hot or cold brew. Granted, I am a fairly new coffee aficionado, but after a year or two of buying coffee every day, I realized I really needed to make it at home and save some money. I went out and bought a fancy coffee maker and several varieties of expensive flavored coffee grounds online, and it was OK...but I still longed for Starbucks or my local coffee parlor. I also genuinely prefer my coffee cold, and for a good iced coffee, you need a strong, robust brew. Regular coffee iced down doesn't always cut it. I eventually found some fantastic cold brew filter bags on Amazon and started experminating with making my own cold brew with regular coffee grounds, with mixed results. Sometimes it was decent, sometimes awful. It was never great. After a few weeks of that, I turned to my trusty friend Google and asked, "What are the best coffee grounds for cold brew?" Voila. Here I am. I am still on my 1st experimental bag of these grounds, but I am sold. The coffee has been phenomenal every time. It is strong, smooth, and fresh, with no weird aftertaste like I often get from a my hot coffees. Even mixed with cream and poured over ice, there is still a bold, delicious flavor that does not get overpowered or watered down easily. The coffee is honestly as good as Starbucks or the $7 latte 😱 at my favorite coffee parlor, and all I need to do now is work on replicating my favorite flavors to have all of that wonderful luxury in my own kitchen. Also, being a New Yorker, I love that this is a local company! NY TOUGH! ❤

BEST cold brew
This is the BEST cold brew. I don't know why it's different, but it doesn't make me anxious. It has a great, smooth taste. I never thought I'd be a cold coffee person, but this changed my mind!!

Unbelievably Smooth....
The first thing you notice about Stone Street Coffee is the rich, intoxicating smell that can't be contained in the pouch that it comes in. I am definitely not a coffee connoisseur, but I press my coffee and was looking for a course-ground type to use in my press. I couldn't get over the how good Stone Street smelled! When I took my first sip, it was nirvana, so smooth, so lovely - not a hint of bitterness to be found. My best friend is so addicted to it, that every time he visits, he texts me ahead of time to make sure I get some Stone Street going in the press beforehand. If my daughter tries to steal a sip, I kid you not - he actually lifts his lip and snarls at her. I have drank a LOT of coffee over the years of my life. I have tried every method of brewing from instant, to drip, to the old-fashioned church-type percolators, and the good 'ol K-cup. NOTHING beats Stone Street in a press. It's worth the effort, and good enough that you can drink it straight. No need to drown it a "flavor-of-the-month" creamer. You will never find yourself pouring the last few swallows down the kitchen sink before rushing out the door to get to work. You'll risk being late, or you'll buy a Yeti just to take it with you - it's that good.

Great as a Cold Brew - but not Hot coffee
I knew enough about how important grinding my own beans is to a really good cup - but cold brew demands a lot more ground than hot coffee and I wanted a break from hand grinding. This is not it- at least not as a hot brew. Yes it is advertised as cold brew but I need my coffee to go both ways. I have a batch of cold brewing in the fridge and will know in 8 hours if it can save its self. The coffee reminds be of Maxwell house - drip and is everything I dislike about Colombian beans. I find these beans too acidic and the pre-ground has released all of the delicate notes in the beans and left a bean that is now a muted taste. I am a self-confessed dark roast coffee snob and prefer to hand grind Arabian beans in a ceramic burr grinder to make hot in a French press (to taste all the oils) and cold brew in a Bean Envy Coffer Maker to lower the acidic levels. But wanted to try this and see what serious new-Yorkers do. If you are a Tim Horton’s fan or McD’s you might like this coffee. It is too acidic for me. SIt is so acidic that I have had to the unthinkable and add real vanilla bean extract to my Bulletproof coffee mix - Can’t recommend this for hot coffee but will amend my rating if it turns out that slow cold-brew can save this acidic monster. UPDATE: Well - I was wrong.... this is a totally different coffee as a Cold Brew. It is not as consentrated as Starbucks Dark French Roast or their Italian Dark Roast - but still it is very mellow. No acidity that was present when hot. Happy to eat crow. It is really good- and is even more smooth than the brands I take hot and cold. Would rate it 4.5 and that is high praise given it can’t be a hot coffee.

THE BEST Cold Brew Coffee This Cold-Brew-Coffee-Obsessed Individual Has Ever Tasted!
First I'd like to explain that, I am obsessed with cold brew coffee, It's the only kind of coffee I drink anymore, and I have at least 1 cup per day. Over the past year, I've tried 67 different kinds/Brands of cold brew coffee (yes, I've kept track and written them down); some that I have made myself using my cold brew system (all purchased from Amazon or local stores) and some made by local coffee shops (where they just hand me a cup of cold brew coffee (typically with ice). It's worth noting that I ONLY ever mix my cold brew coffee with water or ice, I never use sweeteners, milk or creamers; just the coffee concentrate with water. This way I get the true taste of the coffee. Now that you understand just how obsessed I am with cold brew coffees, here's my review of this Stone Street Cold Brew Coffee: This coffee is, by far, THE MOST DELICIOUS cold brew coffee I have come across. And that's saying a lot, especially since I've tried (as mentioned above) 67 different brands and types of cold brew (including this one). I will continue to try other brands and types of cold brews but so far this is, BY FAR, the best one I've tasted. The flavor is rich and pure and doesn't have slight hints of aluminum, plastic or other artificial flavors like many of the other ones I've tried do... It's really difficult for me to put into words exactly what I mean but the bottom line is that this one just (somewhat magically to me) fresh and pure. I should also point out that I am a big fan of the dark roast, so if you're not into dark roast, you might try another one... but still: If you don't like the dark roast-y flavor (which, btw, is not too intense in this one) then add a bit of milk or cream (maybe combined with a small amount of water or ice depending on your preference) and give this one a shot anyway :) I bet you'll like it! Last note: If anyone has any other brands or types of cold brew suggestions, leave a comment! :) I'm always searching for more to try!

The best
I have tried other brands, and this is the best coffee for making cold brew. It has a smooth and delicious flavor. It is like coffee shop flavor without leaving home. Nothing is better on a hot summer morning, than a cup of this cold brew.

2 years expired
The coffee I received was 2 years expired. I still used it, and it tasted fine, but was disappointed to get a product 2 years past expiration.
