Q: Is there a Lava soap that is white? Good to have no color when washing out artist brushes.

I haven't seen a white LAVA soap, but I have washed my own artist brushes with the green soap & nothing happens to them.. Cheers Macdaddy

Q: Is this soap scented?

This soap is not scented. It is used by, among others, plumbers and mechanics to remove grease and stains. I use it in the kitchen after I wash greasy items and after I paint with pastel which gets all over your fingers.

Q: Did lava soap used to be grey?

I’ve used lava soap most of my life and I’m over 50. I am allergic to almost any skin soap on the market, even the ones that are supposed to be non allergic, so I KNOW lava. Yes, it has been several “shades” of gray over the years but the product has remained basically the same. I WON’T use anything else.

Q: Can this be used for laundry stains.?

I think that it could, but it has ground up lava in the soap, so it might harm the fabric. It is much better for hands and find a different product for laundry stains (like OxyClean).
