Put this on my 99 Sierra with the 5.3L and 253K miles! As someone who’s not only modified every vehicle I’ve owned, but also have dyno tuning on several vehicles to show power gains. I did not dyno this vehicle, but the quality of this intake is GREAT! I have. I doubt that this part wouldn’t add around 20 horsepower and torque like most of the popular brands do. Looks great, easy to install and wakes the engine up! Some of the best money you can spend on your truck/car!

Quality is pretty good. The design isn't a perfect fit but does work well. Mine was missing a coupling seal but I had some laying around that worked

Before buying understand.... CHEAP CHINA SWEAT SHOP GARBAGE QUALITY and INSTRUCTIONS ARE USELESS, makes IKEA look like a dictionary... HOWEVER...become a mechanic and watch YouTube and read reviews... it will work and install pretty tight. Clamps are cheap POS, thin, and razor sharp. Couple is 4" where Tahoes MAFS are 3.5", but it can work or buy a 4-3.5" rubber adapter coupling. Design is cheap and frustrating so do not tighten clamps till end. Instructions look like they took internet pics and translated caption Instructions. HOWEVER... it can be done. Successfully installed with patience and YouTube. Like a puzzle look at the box watch how it goes together. No need to shave or cut or modify. Upgrade your choice. This can work and value is can't beat, who unit almost as much as a KN filter.I have an 05 PPV tahoe... instantly check engine light came off whirls cleanly now when rev idle, hear the air flow and can feel the power from the engine within the vehicle when driving. Whether it's hype, or no extra HP or gas mileage, or cold air doesn't truly get sucked in... a CAI is a upgrade.YouTube Smoky Mountain Auto best instruction. Good luck and happy install!

This really is a bang for your buck is everything that I wanted and more everything just fit right into place easy to install with a little adjusting the plastic was good and thick and it fit just right I read a lot of good reviews on this and I was like yeah right I'll just have to see for myself and it was worth every cent I can tell it's boosted up my horsepower and I love the sound of it and the look on my motor is amazing if you're looking for a good cheap cold air intake this is the one you want you can always get a new filter but this one is worth the money the only thing I really didn't like on this was the clamps are cheap they will strip out on you if you tighten them down too hard but I used some of my old ones and I went to my local O'Reilly's and got the other ones I needed for only a couple of bucks well worth the money
