This steamer is very good. It fits all my pots and works well. No complaints. The o-ring at the top of the spindle makes it very easy to lift the steamer out of the pot. In addition to steaming vegetables, it’s also great for steaming Asian dumplings as well. The dumpling come out very soft and chewy. So, if you don’t have a bamboo steamer, you can definitely use this steamer.

I use these for steaming tamales. Perfection. I didn’t want to buy a tamale pot because of price. This is a good value for the price. I love the sturdiness and how many tamales I can fit in it. Super lightweight. Highly recommend.

Just like my last one that broke after years of faithful service to my kitchen. I prefer the solid legs rather than the folding ones but that’s just a personal preference.
