These work very well with a Samsung UN55JU7100F.Unlike the "smart" remote that comes with the TV...they are directional. You can have multiples of the remote working at the same time which translates to no "who's in control of the remote" battles, you can have dueling remotes instead :)There are alot of buttons and there is a learning curve, but it's easier than going through the on-screen menus for every single thing you want to do.I'm not sure if these are official Samsung remotes or a knock off, but they are working well in our house and the price was reasonable.

i brought a Samsung 3d 4k tv 2yrs ago and i have always had issues with the remote, it went through batteries so often i had to change the batteries every week, it eventually stopped working altogether. i decided to tak a chane on this remote and it turn the tv on the right way no programming needed all features work fine! thank you so much for this alternative!! Disappointing substitute for a Samsung remote. Contrary to the description it does not allow direct access to tv channels if you're on cable because you can't program the remote for your cable box. There are absolutely no instructions included. I returned it for a refund.
