Brilliant book for an outdoorsy child on a rainy day. He is slowly working his way through mastering each one.

A simple knot book, with colourful, easy-to-follow pictures. Good for those who just want a few useful knots for various situations and suitable for children who want to tie up their parents but be able to undo the knots at a later time.*I do not endorse children tying up their parents.

Great book my 8 year was able to follow, clear illustrations and has all the knots required.

I thought I'd teach my 10 year old grandson a range of useful knots to amuse him and help get his Cub knots badge. I have taught knot tying to adults and children on sailing courses for a number of years. The book was no help at all. The knots in the book were largely obscure and the diagrams seemed to be designed to baffle. Just no good for a ten year old starting out.

Always wanted to be able to tie different types of knots and this book was great. Very easy instructions with pictures to learn all types.

I like how the pages open so easily so that you don't have to use something to hold the book open.I like the illustrations and the two colors of cords when tying the knots. I would recommend this tobeginners and even more advanced knot tying needs.

This book is an easy way for the entire family to learn about knots you will use in everyday life, camping or boating .survival skills . I would recommend for family fun and reading . Get out , try your skills in the real world and let this book teach you and your children or grandchildren some fun skills vs a computer game or television controlling the mind . Enjoy !

Love this book, it follows KISS so sometimes you want more details but you can Google that. Main thing is it teaches you how to do all the important knots. If you can't follow this then you cannot learn knots from any book.

Clearly describes how to tie the knots and what they are used for. Will use in my sail class.
