Feels sturdy and well built
Haven't gotten a chance to use it yet but it feels solid like the more expensive brands. Tested and working right out of the box. Comes with a hard shell case, a copper cutter, and a deburring tool! We'll worth the money. Everything fits well in the box too. Can't wait to use it! Paint finish was nice too 👌 very easy to use.

A Must for HVAC Work. Works Great!!
I used the swaging tool today on a A/C install and I have to say this tool saved me a lot of time. I was able to swage the Line Sets with ease. The price was right and the tool paid for itself on the first use. I highly recommend this tool to anyone doing HVAC work. Thanks

Easy to swag any copper line
Comes in a nice molded plastic case. The tool has the main body with a lever that you pump to actuate a cone type pin that gets pushed into the center of the metal screw on cap to start the expander process. I noticed that if the copper line end isn't round, it might be somewhat difficult to insert the expander end into the pipe. The way around this was to go one size down on the cap and then the expanding process will round out the copper pipe nicely so that you can insert the proper size cap. There is a knob on the main body of the tool that you can open to release the pressure to the expander cap. You can pretty much pump till you hit the maximum expanded position but since I'm using a silver solder, I ended up doing a few pumps and checking the fit and so on till I had a good tight fit. The unit also comes with a brief instructions on when its necessary to replace the fluid by opening the screw on the bottom end of the body. The pump action is smooth and easy and you get pretty accurate swag. Sure beats having to use the old fashioned drill bit swags.

No more couplings to braze just single joint!!!!
Honestly I held out for a long time buying a tool like this, but once I picked it up (and yes this one is a cheaper version of the "name Brand" ones) and used it a couple times, it became a necessity on every install. The only issue with it is it does not work on 3/8" copper because the copper does crack every time.No problem though because I just keep one of those 3/8" impact bits that swadges the 3/8" copper in about 15 seconds. No long term trial yet but this unit seems to be doing just fine for now and of course the substantialy lower price than brand name ones makes it better.UPDATE: 4-23-2023So after 9 months with the swaging kit I bumped from a 4 star to a 5 star because it has worked very well and the hydraulic pump aspect is still working very well.I also purchased a bender kit (Black Max) and between the two it is extremely rare that I need a copper fitting - maybe a 90 deg elbow once a year or so.This is not a brand name product, but it seems to be doing just as well as one.One thing to note is having to swage pipes coming out of a wall or ceiling the brazed part of the pipe is generally always facing you so that a visual check of your brazing is a piece of cake.

Higher quality than expected
I was pleasantly surprised to find a high quality tube cutter included in the case all the parts fit snugly in a dedicated location it also came with some oil to lubricate the moving parts of the different size die heads which I strongly recommend you regularly add a drop of oil before each use all in all this is a legitimate tool that I use at least once or twice a weekPs if you are using this expander on hard drawn copper pipe you will need to heat it with a torch first or the pipe will rip instead of expanding
