The best!
I have used these Thera Tears lubricant eyed drops in the past but for some reason I haven’t bought them for quite some time. When I started using them again, I remembered how wonderful and soothing they are. These are so much better than artificial tears. They both have their place in treating dry eyes, but the Thera Tears lubricating eye drops are wonderfully soothing and long lasting. My mother also had very dry eyes and was almost unable to do anything but sit at the table with her eyes closed. Once I bought her Thera Tears, that changed her life for the best. In fact, the next time she visited the ophthalmologist he commented that her eyes were tremendously improved.

the BEST eye drops out there
get the Extra version - not original. I have such dry eyes that my lid tore my cornea one morning when I opened my eyes too fast before putting my drops in. I've wasted a fortune trying out so many eye drops, including ones that eye doctors highly recommend as being the best but what gets me is that none ever mention these? They're impossible to find on store shelves too although I had found them before at Walgreens but then they want almost double what you can get them for here on amazon. I don't get why these aren't advertised more. I was telling a cashier at CVS Pharmacy how great they were because they only had one box left but her register said they weren't allowed to sell it. She didn't know why. So I drove to Walgreens and bought some extra boxes and then drove back to CVS to give them to her so she could try and see how great they were because she too had dry eyes and had trouble finding any she'd liked. I'll never know what she thought because I rarely go to CVS for anything and so had never been back and now that store has gone out of business in my area. I can just see them discontinuing them since no one seems to know about them and they're not easy to get in regular stores. I'm going to be screwed after that. Omega 3 supplements don't even work this well.

Helps eyes
It definitely helps my dry eyes when I first wake up in the morning but I don’t love the vials because they be sharp when the cap is twisted off and if you accidentally poke your eye, it can seriously scratch it. So be careful!

Preservative-free and did not sting!
I'm glad I was recommended these by my optometrist after I mentioned that a different brand of preservative-free eye drops actually stung my eyes. These ones did not sting, and I appreciated that these came in multiple sealed packages inside the box (other brand just had the box and vials directly). Only a few drops are used each time so after 1-2 drops in each eye, I wrap the vial opening with cling wrap and refrigerate before using it again a few hours later. At the end of the day, toss the vial/any remainder. My optometrist suggested I do this if I wanted the full bang for my buck. Have not had any issues, if you'd like to do the same. Can definitely recommend this product if you're going for single-use preservative-free vials.
