Zareba WP6 Corner Post Ceramic Insulator

I am very sorry to hear that these ceramic insulators are going obsolete and will not be available much longer. I used a few of these many years ago for our fences when we had livestock. Recently I repurposed them as anchors for the floating decorations in my outdoor goldfish pools. Another person on here reported using them as weights for weaving on a loom, and I suspect that, as weights, these serve many purposes, especially with the handy hole in the middle. Anyways, when I set up my goldfish pools, I purchased more of these insulators, to add to my small collection of recycled livestock insulators, and I'm glad that I did not wait to buy them.

I didn't get these insulators for an electric fence. I am using them for weights for my warp-weighted loom for tablet weaving. One "bobbin" goes on the 4 threads that are inserted in the 4 holes of the card. They weigh approximately 72 grams each, just the right amount of weight for each card. Hurry, if you want these for tablet (r card) weaving, you need to get them soon. They are being phased out in favor of yellow plastic insulators, that are way too light.

Heavy duty: I pulled a framed wall out of place with these, turnbuckles and some range wire. I fully expected these to shatter and They. Did. Not. It would be really nice to get ahold of a smaller size, but these, that I am reviewing, are terrific. Oh also they look nice. Good glazing.

I'm using these as weights for warp weighted weaving. They do the job, and I'm content with them.

There was broken insulators and the box was in poor condition, well aged. The outer box had no problems. It wasn't the shipping. Too bad.

These are very small to be used with barbed wire fencing for example. Also one side of the insulator is not glazed. There are much better corner insulators out there. I will probably throw these away.
