These are great for ensuring your ears do not close. They are small so would be good for both children and adults. I would purchase again.

The earrings do not mess with my ears. They don’t itch or hurt or anything. I took the earrings out of the pack and poked through my old holes growing over and it worked perfect! But if I were going to pierce my ears I would chose this, it’s sealed with paper just like medical sanitary things you have to peel it back then use the sanitary earring loaded contraption to pierce.

I thought I was just ordering the extra long posts, but am glad it was actually the posts AND piercing devices (one for each ear). For some reason, my pierced ears holes closed up and never did that in 30+ years. This device was so easy to use, worked perfectly. I’ve had the posts in for two weeks and they seem to be healing well. I highly recommend this item!

I was very pleasantly surprised by this product. At this point in the pandemic I haven't worn earrings for 9 months because we haven't been going out; and I don't wear earrings with my mask at work. Anyway, my husband gave me a gorgeous pair of diamond hoop earrings for Christmas. It had been so long since I had worn earrings that I couldn't get them through my ears! So, I bought this little system to "re-pierce" my ears. The posts were sharp enough and long enough that I was able to fairly easily get them through the holes. I didn't have to use the spring loaded mechanism to get them through my ears. It was great. Now, I just have to wait 4-6 weeks to wear my new earrings!

I had my ears pierced years ago but I "forget" to put any in so after so many years of not having anything, I thought the holes closed up so I purchased these.They went through the same holes and I didn't need to use the apparatus that came with them. I just used a magnifying mirror so I could easily see where the little notch was on my earlobes and these went in with a little push. I did ice my earlobes a little to make sure that they didn't bleed. Because these are used for piercing, they went right in and I am happily wearing earrings again!I can't wear costume jewellery or I break out so having these in Gold really makes them comfortable for me.I have had them in for 24 hours straight and they are really comfortable and I forget I am wearing them

I got my ear piercings last November and one of my piercing wound is still not healed. My roommate said it might be because my studs was too tight for my earlobe so I got these. And yes, these studs do have longer posts!! It's not a lot but they moves much easier on my earlobe than those I was wearing. They are also very pretty on my ears!One thing to notice for beginners is that it needs a bit of strength to close them. Comparing to other piercing studs it's kinda easy to push the backs too far. You may need to pull the backs out a bit after closing them so you can make use of the full post length.
