Gochujang

This gochujang is one of the better ones that I’ve tried. It has a good amount of heat but it’s not overly spicy. I tried it out with some cucumbers for a snack, and it tasted great! Also, the squeezable pouch packaging is convenient because you don’t have to reach for a spoon.

This is a terrific way to add flavor to a variety of dishes. Some comments indicated that it isn't thick enough or paste-like enough; nonsense, it was plenty thick and if you need it thicker for whatever reason, just reduce it a little.

The heat level is noticeable, pleasantly warm but not intrusive. A nice smokey flavor in the pepper paste with the undertone of the fermentation coming through. Definitely worth a try.

expensive item with nice ingredients but all three packages were short dated - I'm talking weeks not months out. I don't mind buying food with short dates - I know those are a little arbitrary - but stuff with short dates should be advertised and priced as such. Amazon made this right but no thanks to the seller. UPDATED REVIEW: I noticed the short date right away and tried to used the regular links for refunds/returns but those options are not available through the website. That's what led to my great frustration. However, in response to my review, the seller reached out to me directly and offered a full refund. Kudos to them, and a heads up to any other buyer: give them a chance and they'll make it right.

I really enjoyed this. I made ribeye steak lettuce wraps and it was amazing. I added brown sugar, sesame seed oil, chili oil, and low sodium soy sauce and and about 2 tablespoons of water. Thicken to your like, I prefer less thick so I gradually add water. Luved it.

This sauce is not gluten free, and is also not returnable. I wish I could return it because I cannot use it. Waste of money.

This Korean Gochujang paste tastes awesome. I tried cooking some Korean food called Budaejjige and it turned out to be just like the ones my mom use to make for me. Great quality. Highly recommended!!

The ingredient list for this product did not contain MSG, so I thought it safe to buy. I am extremely intolerant of MSG. Unfortunately I discovered that it does contain MSG. I called customer service and they were most helpful, a big five stars for CS.I’m sure if you don’t have any dietary issues that it’s a great product and probably taste great too. It’s really hard to find without MSG but I’ll keep looking.
