The grease at first instance looked fine.I use In in my car door but with heat it changed to a skicky hard tar like material which I had to rub off later.shoukd it do like this ?

Works great! I use this grease on my bicycle chain & other moving parts. Heat or cold cant ruin it. Very strong and useful item indeed. Top notch.
