The price on this chess board is about the best you can get
The price on this chess board is about the best you can get. I is all really wood and the quality is a about midrange I would say, it can fit a chess that has a king height of about 3 1/4 inches and a king base of 1 1/4 inches base this is the maximum that can fit, do not go any big than that. Me and wife love this board it works wonderful with the pieces we bought for it. We play it all the time when we go to the park or coffee shop. I would buy another one as a gift some day for sure if the board is still here later.

Nice chessboard and box
Beautiful inlaid board,rounded corners that are doved tailed,plenty of room for pieces inside, covered in flannel, divided into 2 compartments, black and white.Really nice for the money, would recommend!

Well made with smooth edges and lines
Well crafted case, smooth edges and exceptional fit when closed or open. Worth the price. Good quality!

Needed some minor tweaking. But nice wood.
The only thing that I didn't like was that it didn't sit flat. So I had to put my knee to it to flex the hinges. Then it was ok. The clasp is a tad cheapy. But the woodwork is nice. And the size and thickness of wood is nice.

Good board for storing pieces
These board replaced one that fell apart. There's enough room to store the pieces and it makes a much better playing surface than that old cardboard one we had. Great value for cost.

Excellent Products
I purchased 14" x 14" wooden chess board and wooden pieces on 30.4.2021 for Rs. 3690/-. Though the price is exorbitant, the quality and finish of the products is excellent. They are exactly like what is displayed in picture on Amazon site. In the image, the picture of a Globe is appearing. I have purchased it also from Amazon on 26.4.2021 for Rs. 989/-..

Must have and best solid wood travel chess board!!!
Ordered with some hesitation but when the chess board was delivered next day, I could not be any more pleased with the quality, solid wood construction, and packing of the product which was well protected.I am very pleased with the chess board and will be using it as my main travel kit for the holidays, at the cottage, at home and when on the road.A must have for all chess fans of all ages!!!
