Good quality light weight . Double zip do extra secure. These are replacement suitcase . The last ones lasted 10 years the zips broke suitcase still in good condition

We already have the larger version of this case. They are lightweight, but very well made and sturdy. So I decided for my birthday present from my husband this year to get this smaller companion case. Ideal size for a few days away and not heavy for me to lift on and off the trains. They are very stylish, I bought the blue, it’s very nice.

Got a great deal, bit expensive for what you get otherwise - very smart, built in lock, feels sturdy, premium and glides very well

This is an excellent short trip suitcase suitable for carry-on only case ... only very small complaint is would prefer 4 wheels as opposed to two. Love the numerous small pockets on "outside" of case for things like toiletries which I need to take out at security - no need tk open the case

It's a great carry-on, light, compact but very spacious

I have had a Samsonite case and hand luggage since 2012. I have loved both pieces and used them repeatedly for business and pleasure, travelling repeatedly to Australia, the Far East, and the USA, as well as many local and European trips. I expected them to get damaged, but they were remarkably resilient and only recently had started to show signs of wear around the corners in the fabric. As the wear was, most importantly, in the functioning of the zip, I decided to replace, and given my excellent experience with Samsonite, I decided to look for a similar Samsonite product for a trip to Australia via Singapore which I have just returned from yesterday. I bought a Samsonite Airea - Upright S Toppocket Expandable Hand Luggage, 55 cm, 41/46 L, Blue (Dark Blue) on 15th October. I was extremely disappointed to collect it from the baggage carousel yesterday to find the fabric having been damaged on the corner of the bag already, and there is also damage / ruckling of the fabric to the other side which has made me question the quality of the fabric on this model in comparison to my old faithful. Please see attached photos. Is this under warranty or will you tell me that there is no recourse given rough handling at airports? Or can I return it? As I say, my previous model seemed to withstand this pretty well over the 13 years I’ve had it in comparison, and this is disappointing to say the least on my first trip with them. I look forward to hearing from you - I'm not sure how else to ask about this.

Pros: roomy and super light; strong wheels that make very little noise; it looks good and it appears well built; plenty of handle height adjustment. Cons: flimsy work with the metallic brand tag, which was the first to go as per attached picture; the rubber around the stitches on the top edges scratch and get cut easily; it can get incredibly dirty. However, the cons are not a deal breaker. The tag came off during the very first trip while handled by the airport staff, but it is not important element anyway. As for the dirt, it cleans off easily enough. I would probably buy it again. The wheels survived 1km of potholed gravel road while carrying 20kg. Best features of this suitcase are definitely the wheels and weight.
