Nix the ticks
We keep a bottle of Cedarcide at both the front and rear door for easy access and protection. The cedar smell is richly natural and effective. We spray ourselves, the dog, the dog beds and entry ways. Cedarcide is a staple in our wooded environment.

Works great!
Ticks love me, unfortunately. But, this stuff when I spray it on my feet, shoes, and pants, I come in tick free!!! This has been a life saver for me, as ticks freak me out! Get some of this!!

Smells good, but does not kill fleas
I got this hoping it would help keep the fleas off of my dog after a flea bath, but it doesn't seem to bother any of the fleas that are already on her. They dislike freshly-applied Cedarcide, but don't die or jump off. I'll have to try applying Cedarcide immediately after a flea bath. To my understanding, cedar oil is not toxic to fleas, but may contain compounds that make it difficult for fleas to find their victims.I have tried Cedarcide on fire ants and roaches, and it did kill them. If you get some Cedarcide for fleas and it doesn't work, you could always use it to deodorize old rugs, freshen laundry, and probably repel ticks and mosquitoes. Just beware that it is a little oily until dry, and has a very strong smell that is rather overwhelming for pets.

Extra tick protection for the north east USA
Even with flea/tick meds, my dog was coming home with ticks. This is a kid and dog friendly topical spray that really does seem to repel them from getting on you in the first place. Bonus, gnats and mosquitos don't seem to like the smell much either. It's a bit strong in smell, sort of like being inside a cedar chest or rolling in pine needles.

Ticks B gone
The product works great on repelling ticks from clothing and from our 10 month old Vizsla. I applied the spray to the dogs collar and vest and my clothes and we go train in fields and woods and the stuff really works. Plus, it smells good.

This is an especially bad year for ticks in the Northeast
This is an especially bad year for ticks in the Northeast, so it is not possible to tell if this product is really working or not, but I will report that this has not prevented any ticks from attaching themselves to my dog. Are there less because of this product? Impossible to tell. I have been spraying my yard with EcoSmart products too, so any success I am having may be due to all the steps I am taking.

It works!!!
I always try to find natural ways to help my dog without exposing him to chemicals like deet. This cedar oil lemon grass mix in my opinion works better, and without poison.

Successfully used to repel ticks for 5 years in the heart of tick country, upper Midwest USA
Three of us have used this faithfully every day for the last 5 years, once we transition out of our winter boots and until we're wearing them again. We've lived in the woods (had a tick on my blanket within 20 min of laying it down the first time after moving there) and then in a suburban-ish area where our next door neighbors have gotten ticks on them in the backyard. The only times we got a tick on us (two total), we hadn't used Cedarcide those days. The 4th person in our family uses DEET and has gotten ticks on them. Love that it's safe for my kids to use and apply. When we lived in the woods, I'd have the kids reapply in the afternoon when going back out just to be safe.Note that sometimes the quart spray bottles can leak when tipped over, from the neck and not the sprayer. The wind had knocked it over on our deck and it spilled most of an almost new quart overnight (gah!). We are now decanting to a medium size amber glass spray to hopefully prevent this issue.
