E-outstanding G9 Ceramic Lamp Holder 2PCS G-9 Halogen Light Bulb Base Socket (Total Height 35mm)

My halogen bulbs were melting the covers and burning out the sockets on the fixtures in my bathroom. I replaced the sockets and changed to these bulbs and now I have a bright white light that lights up the room with none of the heat from the old style bulb.

Was in need of a replacement and these did the job! Easy to install.

I have an IKEA lightbar with G9 sockets, and one of them was not lighting up. This product was a perfect replacement part and was very easy to install. I just unscrewed the old socket stripped, and cut the wires. I stripped the wires a little bit, then pushed them into the new socket, and screwed it back in place. Easy peasy worked like a charm.

The design was slightly different than the original, but worked perfectly with the original screws. Very easy to install.

Very hard to insert the bulb in. Don't come out. I had to return it with half bulb inside. The connection to the wires is not very firm and disconnect easily.

Base of these lamp holders were not compatible with my lamp. Had to transfer base from old holder to new one but then the long screws provided with these holders would not screw into the old base so I had to chip away the ceramic to be able to use the original screws that were compatible with the old lamp holder and were slightly shorter. In the end I was able to make them work.
