Amazing Shower Experience, Easy to Install!
I recently installed the 8'' Matte Black Rain Shower Head, and it’s been a fantastic upgrade to my bathroom! The shower head is sleek and modern, and the matte black finish gives it a stylish, contemporary look that complements my bathroom decor perfectly. Installation was incredibly easy. It only took me about 10 minutes to screw it on, and I didn’t need any special tools or expertise. It was truly a hassle-free process. Once installed, the shower head delivered a wonderful, relaxing rainfall experience with its wide coverage and gentle flow. The water pressure is just right, and it’s been such a treat to shower under it every day. I also love that the shower head feels sturdy and durable, and the large size ensures I’m covered from all angles. If you’re looking to elevate your shower game with something both functional and stylish, this rain shower head is definitely worth the investment!

AWESOME!!!
For the price, I honestly didn't expect much. But this showerhead is fantastic! Installation was simple. I kind of used the instructions as a guide, but they were hardly necessary. It's all pretty intuitive. The package comes complete with everything you need, including a couple rolls of teflon tape for making the joints watertight. The showerhead and hand sprayer look absolutely beautiful! Nice shiny chrome finish. Really high end appearance. Most importantly, it works great!!! Water pressure is great! Spray functions on the hand held are great! The included extender allows you to position the rainfall showerhead where it should be. I've seen similar packages selling for hundreds of dollars, and can't think of a single reason spend the extra money. I plan to install these in all of our showers!! Highly recommend!!!

All and all great shower head
Easy enough to install, but it wasn’t my first. I’m sure it depends on the pressure at your home but this puts out SO MUCH water. Even with both the rainfall and the handheld on at once. I love that the handheld has a pressure valve! I will say they could have reduced the amount of pipe thread tape and washers they gave you, I’m sure there is an opportunity to increase revenue there. My only criticism is that the nozzles on the two fixtures are different colors. This was just for an apartment shower so no big deal. I would have given a 4.75 if I could have.

Great shower head!
This shower head was a gamer changer for our guest bathroom! We’ve had it for over a year and it still works great! It is also so helpful to have the arm part as we have large dogs and can use it to bathe them. It’s a great product for the price!

8 month review
We bought this around Christmas of 2022, so it’s been installed for about 8 months now. Let me start off by saying this shower head is great- it’s made showering together much easier because one of us can use the handheld part while the other is under the actual rain head. It’s been really nice to have variety and we can enjoy showering together MUCH more than with our standard rental shower head. Water pressure is good when both heads are on, but definitely better when only one is in use. It’s easy to switch between them and we haven’t had too many issues. The only real “problem” is that we’ve had to retighten the connections a few times, as it can get leaky. But that’s been pretty easy with a wrench from our tiny home tool kit, and part of the leaking comes from opening the shower door the wrong way and knocking the rain fall head. All in all it’s a great product for the price point, and we’ve been super happy with it!

Does the trick. . .
I am one of those people who apparently lives under a rock, and had been accepting the standard-issue shower head wherever I was. Upon going to a hotel a few weeks ago, my world was rocked when they had installed not one, but TWO shower heads. It was like--I never wanted to leave the house. But it was a hotel. And they're expensive. And I had to go back to work. So I didn't have choices. Not being an experienced plumber, I had no idea what to look for in a device like this. I just wanted to recreate that experience at home, and upon searching, this seemed to be the correct choice for me. Installation is pretty straight-forward, even a derp like me could manage. But we did have a leaking issue from the main connection, which was resolved by adding a 2nd washer into that connection. I don't recall the instructions asking you to do that, or maybe they literally meant to add a washer into each connection (even if it already had one, as 4/5 of them did, as I recall). Anyway. Leak fixed. As long as you set it exactly where you want it and are able to leave it alone, it's fine. I have to angle the square head up in order to not clip it with my head, and I am only like 5'10". No big deal. I just had it in my head this would be a taller rig than it was. Again, I am not a plumber, so I have no idea why I even have any expectations to begin with. Once installed and set up as desired, it's fine. Totally fine. As long as all you want is water from one source, which might have been how it was designed, but I was going for that dual-head experience I had at the hotel. So either I am asking for way too much here, or the fact that a 50/50 split on the water between the heads results in a very poor stream from both (for me). Could be the apartment, but the water pressure seems fine; and when using just the mobile head, the pressure is fine. When using the rain head, it's a tickly, giggly experience. But that I can get a full and pleasant warm blanket of water all over myself is satisfying enough. Still wish I could get a solid blast off the mobile head because it's just fun to me to be that petty and excessive in the shower--the only place I have in life that makes the day worth all the headaches. The kitchen, too. I mean, I like to eat. And then I like to shower. My only real gripe and concern is how the shower head is very wobbly at the main connection. Could just be the demand of physics when indulging in a shower of this nature. I have my doubts. For one, the instructions state that not all pieces may match the model pictures. That, to me, sounds like franken-head. Like perhaps it's whatever deal they got on Part X that batch dictated what they put on any given batch. Times like 40 pieces. I suspect that the concern I have is unintended and perhaps a design flaw. I don't feel really safe under the rig, but I am also not too, too concerned. But I have also made the decision that this will be replaced with far more scrutiny and research into the next version. I'd say I might have this up a year. And I am doubting that. But let's say you're not like me, and you figure it's safe and that wobble is totes rad and expected, or whatever, you still have to decide if you were going for a soft rain/jet spray combo. If you are, I am about 99% certain that you will be unhappy with the unit. In terms of overall value, I am no appraiser of Home Depot parts, but I am assuming that it'd cost you about 30 bucks to build your own, and I don't think you have to over-think quality here. I don't think the price is totally unfair. But I do feel like I wish I had done more homework before springing for this. But I am an objective person, so I am happy to keep the item (because I honestly do not think I am going to escape some type of concerning issue no matter which of their finished products I get). College dorm for a year no one cares about? Second bathroom used infrequently? Giftcard to burn with this being affordable? Affordable option to just solve a problem for now? Go for it. It's fine overall in that regard. But if you tell me you spent your last cushion cash to get this item because you thought it was going to solve all your problems because you, too, have an unhealthy relationship with the shower and perhaps a smidge-too-much cost:expectations ratio, then I will have to remind you I warned you. It's, in my overall review, even without the connection concern, a GWUPF. Yes. It's a gwupf. Get what you pay for. And I don't really regret it. Just not in love with it. I rate it 3 stars here. But I think we could spring for 3.64 out of 5. If you read this far, you probably wanted precision. I aimed to deliver. Happy shopping!
