They send you two pedals do so you dont have go order another separately.

How do you access the bearings?

You pry off the plastic cap off the end of the pedal. These pedals can be rebuilt, I've done it myself.

Will they fit ynot straps?

For commuting, you absolutely can use straps with platform pedals -- indeed these pedals are specifically made to work with straps. I don't have specific experience with ynot straps, but looking at how they mate, its highly likely it would work. The gates straps from fyxation definitely work.

How do these perform in the rain? Good traction?

Yes, very good traction in the rain. But, this could depend a little on the bottom of the shoe too. But, ride my bike in the rain all the time.
