I watched a tutorial on YouTube about how to replace a broken wire and thought I'd give it a go rather than paying a fortune to buy a new recliner. It literally took less than 5 minutes to install. It was so easy. The only troublesome thing was trying to remove the old clip, but I found if I snapped it off and picked the remains through the hole it was so much quicker to remove. I'm very happy with them.

We ordered this as a replacement but was too long. Good delivery tho. And as was described. Hubby managed yo rig it tho so worked.

just the right size, one tip is once you have removed the handle and turned your recliner upside down is take a picture of the old cable and see which hole the the little hook fits in. there is also a black plastic clip on the old cable it needs to be squeezed together and pull out. once you have taken the old cable out its important to fix the hook in the hole first. then feed it through to the handle once your happy with it then push the plastic clip on the cable into the hole if you dont and you need to adjust anything there quite difficult to get off. there is a video on youtube which i found useful hope this helps
